The couches on the chalets aren't practical for someone traveling with your partner... If you could introduce double sitting couches.

restaurant by the ocean view . dirty and unfriendly staff. they only attended to white people and left us waiting for 40 minutes . didn’t like the scary brown beach . pool looks not safe as there is a broken hole towards the sea .

This is definitely a hidden gem! We, as a family, enjoyed our time! The food at the restaurant was divine 😋.

The room service cleaning staff can do a bit more thorough sweeping and cleaning. Network/WiFi was not great.

You feel like you in the wilderness but with the comfort. The private beach is nice and quiet. The restaurant is well placed and a beautiful view. The breakfast was well priced and tasty. Property was clean and well maintained. COVID-19 protocol was followed at all time from staff. Kids enjoy the monkey and the wooden cabin stay.

The day visitors making use of the sun downers bar. They fill up the bar area and parking area. This causes the people staying in the lodge not to enjoy the usage of this facility as it it full. The day visitors have no respect for speed limit in the lodge and play their car music very loud. It would be nice to have a small area allocated for people staying in the lodge to sit down and enjoy the bar area as well.

Liked the fact that our room was a bit away from people allowing us the privacy we wanted. The noise restrictions also didn't limit us to have our own fun.

Was a lovely one night stay between Johannesburg to our safari inland. Loved the clean, cosy cottage-like independent suites, surrounded by tropical nature with the sounds of crickets and frogs at night and birds in the morning (if you choose to leave your windows open). Awesome bar/restaurant overlooking the Indian Ocean with local ambience. Didn't take the time to swim but the lodge has private access to a nice-looking beach. Food very good at bar and inland restaurant overlooking wetland. Highly recommend, especially for those seeking something different from hotels. Even nicer in person than in photos. Staff were all very friendly and professional.

Check in was not smooth. Even though I gave the check-in time in advance, and have paid in full, the receptionist could not find my name in the system. My name was not on the list of expected visitors, I even thought I was defrauded. We waiting for a long time eventually we were allocated a room.

I like the Sundown Restuarant Sea view, and access. to the beach

No assistance with the bags from the reception to the cabin. Assumption that everyone will have a car is not inclusive of diversity. The receptionist at both times - check in and check out could do with more training - awareness about inclusive client service orientation, listening- figuring out customer needs. I did not have a car; I had a suitcase and a laptop bag....

We liked the quiet and peaceful atmosphere, the kids enjoyed the space to move around, and the insects fascinated them. The chalet was well equipped with a hair dryer, iron and ironing board and the kitchen had all the necessary equipment.

The pool area was closed, and even if you are 700m from the beach, we didn't have access to it. Luckly the public beach is very close by if you travel with a vehicle (less than 5 minutes)

Spacious rooms with most of the facilities you would normally need and look for - kicthen appliances, most popular satellite television channels, Netflix...even though internet connecivity can be tricky indoors. the MoD on Friday Aug 26 (evening) was superb and very customer friendly and centered. She listens, she dialogues and she acts. She even went as far as carrying an extra mattress herself, on her head, for us, late in the evening (which made me wonder where her other colleagues were). Sorry I never noted down her name, but please pass our appreciation and gratitude to her.

Having an extra bed resulted in a bit of back and forth. No draft beer!!!!
