We were very lucky to get a little upgrade to a room upstairs with a patio. The room was very nice although completely you could here everything from the other rooms as the attic is kind of open and all connected to the other rooms. It is well located near by stellenbosch if you do have a car. The Garden is currently under construction but I can tell, it will look beautiful once it’s done.

The pool is not very inviting it’s time to change pool furniture as they are not in the best condition. Breakfast offer definitely need to be improved. You have only one Choice of a very limited menu.1 coffee OR juice is included - for water you have to pay extra. Very odd.

We stayed at Val de Vines guesthouse for 1 week and had an absolutely amazing experience. Manager K. and her co-worker R. are such warm and nice people that will try to accommodate the guests in any way possible. They will also, if possible, try to match you with the room that will best cover the needs of your stay. Breakfast is included in the stay and has a pick and choose menu. We tried several options and would recommend every single one of them. If we are ever lucky enough to find our way back to Stellenbosch. We will definitely choose Val de Vine again. Loved it! Breakfast was great. It would be nice if the establishment can add a few basic items for guests with allergies. For dinner we were accommodated which was nice but not during breakfast.

The waiter on duty during breakfast was very rude. After waiting for over 5 minutes just to be provided with a menu, all he could say was that “he is only one person” that was very rude and distasteful.

Beautiful farm and also beautiful venue with very friendly and eager to help staff. We booked at Val De Vine for one night to attend a conference nearby. We loved the location and will certainly recommend Val De Vine to all my family, friends and colleagues.

The Bathroom door came of when I opened it in the wrong direction.

Ideally situated, room comfortable and adequate.

The breakfast was very poor. I don’t mind a simple breakfast but we had to ask for more scrambled egg and bacon to be made available as bins were empty and the bacon was not even decently cooked when it arrived. We went elsewhere on second morning.

It is a beautiful spot outside Stellenbosch. Approx. 10min drive to the city center, which is very cute. It's close though to some very pretty wineyards. The guesthouse has a nice garden, very good food, breakfast good (no buffet so the choice was rather small), the staff was very friendly. One night they had live music.

The water in the shower didn't drain properly, made it difficult to wash my hair. There was no door to the toilet area.

The forest views & peak of the mountains were beautifully breathtaking.. Loved the live band & music selection, very serene vibes. The courtyard & dining areas are well maintained & the staff was exceptionally professional, polite, friendly & went the extra mile. The food was amazingly tasty & the wine selection was impressive. Fountain room was comfortable & luxurious, the fountain lounge area was nice & relaxing, the perfect leisure getaway..

The deluxe king room was superb. The room looked exactly like the photos. The bed was comfy, the bathroom facilities were modern and clean and the room was tastfully decorated. Ethan was great and was very accommodating of our requests.

The breakfast was a little inconsistent throughout our stay but was not unpleasant.

Wonderful Staff and management. Very helpful and friendly. Great location for us near a wedding venue down the road. The bed was comfortable, with great quality linen too. Bonus- Kettle in room. Restaurant service great

Unfortunately no TV in rooms, but we managed to watch sport in the restaurant downstairs. They were great. Also no Mini Bar/ refrigerator (in rooms for medication and cold water) however we managed

Lovely venue. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere, very chilled. Loved breakfast. Everything was cleaned and all the facilities were closed by. Everything is as shown in the pictures.

The standard rooms were a bit small. There was no door by the bathroom and no shower door. This caused the water to go on the floor. There was no plug for the hairdryer and no iron in the room. We had to ask for one. Would have loved it if there was a mini fridge in the room.
