Loved Mavilla, it being just our kind of place in terms of its charm and decor. Vic and Esme are attentive and outstanding hosts, the room beautiful, and the breakfast, oh wow, the most generous helping of delicious and downright yummy we have ever had at a BnB. Also loved that there was ample coffee available and rusks as an added bonus, so the coffee, sugar and milk that we always bring from home when staying at a BnB, was left untouched, which is a first for us.

Hostess Esme was super friendly and talkative, always enquiring if everything was alright. The facilities were neat and super clean. The breakfasts were served on time and were delicious. Beds were very comfortable. The parking was off street, but not secured. The Wifi had a good signal, but the TV seemed to only have one SABC channel.

The outside of the premises could do with some painting and garden and pool maintenance

The friendliness & hospitality of the owners, the way they welcomed us on arrival Loved the little flowers in the bathroom on the towel & toilet paper. They are down to earth people. The bed was so comfortable to sleep in. Awesome view from the balcony to the pool area. Breakfast was top notch. They were very concerned, always asking are we ok. We could make tea & coffee anytime.Love the quietness of the place. Shops are very close by. We would definitely go back 💓
