The location is perfect for exploring Stellenbosch on foot. Pool was very welcome in Summer! Room is nice and spacious and bathroom is clean with a great shower. Will stay there again. Close to University. Breakfast was superb!

I could only stay one night. Maybe a small fridge in the room to store cold water or fruit in the heat of Summer, but not a crucial necessity.

The manager and the other staff are friendly and welcoming. The lodge has some nice terasse and outside seating areas. Our rooms were functional and clean. Parking was safe and the shop/restaurant zone is a short walk away throgh a street lined with beautiful Jacarandas. We had a nice breakfast.

Our rooms were both noisy, which was due to loud fellow tourists. Both rooms were visited by annoying flies in the night. The windows at least in the lower room should be fixed so that they can be easier opend and closed. Some fly screen would also be great.

Breakfast was good, very central location and easy to get to and find. It felt safe and secure.

It was frustrating that we couldn’t park our vehicle inside the gate each night and had to leave it on the road some nights, due to the parking being too full or some guests not parking mindfully.

Breakfast superb, plenty of choice. Loved the mini kitchenette in our room. Everything provided for a short stay in comfort. Staff exceptionally helpful, welcoming and friendly. Appreciated all the extras eg washing liquid, cloths, tea/coffee, biscuits etc left in our kitchenette/room. Thank you for a lovely stay.

No long mirror. Noisy street at peak times.

Superb location near to Eikestad Mall for shopping as well as its restaurants. Both Angi and Chevonthe have been amazing host; every detail/concern has been taken care of. Big shout out to Francois for picking up and dropping at the airport with spot-on pieces of advice about things to do in Stellenbosch and his story telling along the way. They will be missed.

Have stayed here before so that says it all! Breakfast was perfect and the service was fast and efficient. The rooms are great - huge comfy bed and lovely bathroom. Love staying at Just Joey - also because the location is fantastic. Park inside and walk a few minutes to Dorp and Andringa street. I hope to be back again soon.

Great location friendly staff

Rooms close by the breakfast area might be noisy in the morning. Parking might be a bit difficult, due to number of available lots. JustJoey is not anymore the same as a few years ago. Don’t expect the same as a few years ago, once they had a garden, there is now a big building instead

We had a Clean, comfortable and modern room in a wing of the lodge attached to the heritage home. Great location in short and safe walking distance to the core. Good breakfast … and Francois was a great host.

Personnel was very friendly, breakfast was good. Very quiet when we were there but the location is fantastic. You can walk anywhere in town.

The rooms were quite small. Clean and comfortable but a bit cramped.

A very pleasant stay; very friendly service , good facilities, good breakfast . We will book again.
