Everything, the staff, the rooms, the service, the wine tasting and the wines. they were all perfect. Celestino brought us through the wine tasting and it was brilliant and personal experience. We ended up buying quite a bit of their wine which just was extremely good compared to other tastings we had in our trip. A place we will go to again in the near future.

Nothing, it was perfect, although on hind sight taking the second-floor rooms will give yu a much better view if thats what you are looking for. If not the ground floor was brilliant too.

The environment is beautiful, calm, and quiet. The room and bathroom are extremely comfortable, well-equipped, and spacious. The staff is excellent. We arrived at night, when the front desk was closed, but we had been informed that we would be welcomed by the security guard, and everything went perfectly!

The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant for dinner, but this is clearly stated on the website, so it’s not a surprise. Besides, Uber Eats worked very well. The breakfast could have a few more options — it’s relatively simple.

Loved the location, it is absolutely beautiful. The bedroom was stunning, clean and modern. The animals near to the farm were also a treat for us to experience.

Location wise it is difficult to order food from delivery apps or to order a lift. We made friends with an Uber driver our friends used to help us get around instead. Being so far out also means that restaurants are a bit further away - it was disappointing to hear that we were unable to order food from the kitchen on site when we arrived as they only serve breakfast to customers who spent the previous night there (despite us being willing to pay extra).

Everything was as expected. . We stayed over for o e night because we attended a function and did not want to drive back to Caoe Town . The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed . The booking and checkout were simple . The staff at the reception were very friendly . The breakfast was delicious, and we were able to enjoy the morning serenity and beauty of the farm . We enjoyed hearing the story about and watching the friendly staff feeding the fish and the little lamb. We will choose Lavanne for a stay over again .The complementary wine tasting and bottle of wine was a welcome bonus .

Location is central to all the activities we had planned without having to travel through Stellenbosch town (which saved us time) It is also close enough to town for taxi services to collect you or to drive to town if need be Breakfast was excellent

A heads-up would be great before you arrive, that the guesthouse is visible from the road. We were worried that the noise from the road would be disturbing. Luckily, the rooms face away from the road and you only hear the sheep behind the guesthouse!

The included breakfast is an absolute success. Self serve Continental set-up: bran, flakes, muesli, 2 types of yogurt, plain and flavored. Fruit (different fruits everyday), different cheeses to choose from with some cold meats aswell. AND a full breakfast with that, 2 options are provided, English breakfast or an omelet, with a "box selection" card to include or exclude certain ingredients. Coffee and tea on tap, and your choice of two fruit juices. It is a good breakfast and can easily sustain you for the majority of the day. Breakfast is served from 8am-10am, and the team is prepared and ready to make your breakfast fresh. Eating hall has a lot of glass so you can take in and appreciate the great views the area has to offer. A comfortable lounge area and fireplace.

Eggs are done the same way throughout the bank with the English breakfast. IME, asked for "easy over" got well done, asked for well done, got well done. Not a deal breaker, but could be a peeve for some. Really nothing else to dislike about the facilities.

Very clean rooms with fridges and safe. Lovely toiletries and a complimentary bottle of wine and wine tasting. Beautiful winery estate and facilities with a Small pool. Fully equipped communal lounge. Delicious cooked to order breakfast as well as buffet selection. Staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. We were a family of 13 and the estate was very accommodating. Close to Stellenbosch town and a perfect base to visit the wine region.

The location is perfect, I enjoyed how calm, peaceful & tranquil the property is. Staff was friendly, breakfast was great and so were the rooms. Loved that I got a complimentary bottle of wine on check in as well as a complimentary wine tasting. I was very satisficed & left happy after my little weekend stay, I will definitely go back in summer to make use of the pool.

Nothing, the location, property, staff, cleanliness & facilities all met my expectations

Lovane is a one love for our family. I've lived several months all around the SA in many regions - from Johannesburg to along the Great Ocean Road. I've also been almost everywhere around the world. And Lovane is the ultimately best place to stay in the whole region, and maybe even in the whole South Africa. The example of how a host with passion does everything right to provide amazing experience and not become a soulless business. I can write pages about how amazing Lovane is, but you have to try it yourself. It is a winery - and if you stay there, they offer you tasting, and the owner can show around and tell you everything about his experience. You will also find a bottle of their wine in your room as a present after check-in. It is a hotel - they have a fast WiFi, a pool, they offer amazing breakfast and ready to tell you everything about what to do and where to go. They are like old friends you came to visit. I want to come there again and again. It is a place to be - you have literally everything around. Other wineries (a lot), restaurants, activities - everything is in 5-10 minutes drive. The best destination to stay in Stellenbosch.

Guys at Lovane, you do everything great. I would be glad if you'd offer dinners so I wouldn't need to leave your place at all. Maybe you could sell some souvenirs or magnets, and I hope one day you will also offer some other activities. I don't want to see you becoming a second Spier, as it will make you less personal, but I still believe that you are the best and whatever you do - you do it right. Go, Lovane, I'm your fan :)

This is an amazing place to stay, it is a small wine state, therefore, it feels very private and exclusive, the staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast was included and it weas really nice (taste and variety), the room was ample and super clean with a nice view to the wine yards. it is located in a strategic spot so you can move to Stellenbosch towns or to other wine states. we had a complementary bottle of wine at the room and they also gave us a free wine tasting at their caba, which was amazing, also the room had a fully stocked minibar with fair prices.
