The location of this hotel is excellent, close to shops, restaurants and attractions. The staff were also exceptionally helpful and always ready to assist. The room (Fynbos) was comfortable and I had everything I needed all wrapped in a beautiful soundproof wrapping. Plus the wifi is super fast.

The hotel does need a little maintenance and general updating. Some small things like sealant coming off the shower door, wallpaper that is starting to peel and light water damage is visible in places. And while the breakfast is tasty and fresh, I would have expected it to have a larger variety especially with all the bakeries around and the price charged.

A really great little hotel - comfy, well appointed rooms and some of the nicest staff ever. Location is also fabulous - you really can't fault it! The night concierge, Sonny, was a particular highlight! A really great hotel that I'd highly recommend.

Though the night concierge were always attentive and I only once remained outside the hotel for a little while, I struggled as a solo traveller with not having manual access to the hotel after it's locked. Whilst I appreciate the safety measure of the night concierge granting access, it does mean waiting on the street.

The hotel is well situated close to a medical centre, supermarket, several small cafés and a laundromat. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, especially the hostess working at check-in. They were constantly checking up on us and reminding us of services/assistance offered. The room was clean and well-presented. The breakfast was good.

The parking area was a little small.

A small boutique hotel in a renovated building providing us with an excellent one-night stay and tasty breakfast. Check in staff was friendly and helpful and check in was very smooth. The facilities were clean and comfortable with a fair size room, double bed, excellent self-help coffee service and an ensuite bathroom (shower no bath). The fittings were modern and comprehensive, and the open spaces were stylishly furnished and comfortable albeit on the small side

Parking was a problem. Limited and small private parking available and street parking was at a premium.

Excellent staff from our first greeting to our farewell. Breakfast was good and again the staff remarkable. They really did make our stay special. The night porter Sammy, was a beautiful sole inside and out. Kind and knowledgeable of the local area. He left a lasting impression.

The terrace on the roof let the place down. Torn/ripped, worn outdoor cushions. It would of been nice to spend more time up there, but it didn't look inviting to want to spend time up there.

The location and staff were amazing, the room was very comfortable, clean, not dated, good size, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and kind. The breakfast was lovely.

Our room was made up late, in the afternoon. The dirty coffee cups were left for two days, empty water bottles weren’t removed during the room make up so by the end of the stay we cleared so many of them.

Location is superb. It is comfortable and clean.

We had to request toilet paper. Complimentary water was not replenished. The face towel, hand towel and floor mat was not replaced after being thrown on the floor. It was merely hung and dried by housekeeping for use. Not on!

The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore the area. The staff were absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The breakfast was a highlight, with a great selection of fresh fruits.

The stay was pleasant overall, but I wish they would change the sheets daily and provide complimentary water every day. These small touches would make the experience even better.

The location is great, walking distance from restaurants and shops. The staff were amazing, Ches and Uncle Sammy were very friendly and helpful. Our room was small but clean and had everything we needed. (bathrobes, hairdryer, toiletries, coffee, tea & water). The Lights and WIFI stayed on when it was load-shedding. They don't cater for halaal but they arranged a vegetarian breakfast (made separately) for us which was good. Thank you!

The private parking was challenging - especially if you have a big car. There's only space for 4 which is very tight and you have to reverse your way out. Very nerve wrecking. I'll advise that you first have a look before you drive through the gate to see what you up against.

For the start being greeted at the arrival by Sammy was an exclusive experience that made our entire stay something special and unique. The location of the hotel is perfect, just steps away from what city has to offer. Hotel itself is super clean and well managed however if we would have to stay in the room that was initially assigned to us it would leave us rather disappointed. Luckily we were quickly moved to another room which exceeded our expectations. There is a gated parking space, which is tiny but the staff is doing what they can to fit as much cars as possible in it. Breakfast was very pleasant and again staff was super nice. The day receptionist / manager who's name I didn't get was also extremely attentive. Overall the staff makes this place super special, you feel you're well looked after.

The initial room we were assigned to had a blind window and felt claustrophobic. I believe if you're booking this type of the room (with window facing a wall) you should be warned to make sure you're making a conscious decision.
