Anna is lovely, and was incredibly helpful and responsive when we asked for assistance before our stay. Our room was immaculate and very spacious, parking is secure and we enjoyed the pastoral views and two pools, as well as an early breakfast before driving to Cape Town Airport in less than 30 mins. The property is also well-placed for visiting nearby Stellenbosch. We were very glad we chose it. Thank you!

Not really Lauradale’s fault, but other guests left towels and belongings hanging around the shared decked area and pool, where they remained all evening, spoiling the view and making it feel a bit untidy.

We recently had the pleasure of spending two nights at Lauradale Accommodation in Stellenbosch over the Christmas holiday, and we can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable and enjoyable. Anna, the manager, was especially fantastic. She took the time to help us organize a wine tour, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Her local knowledge and recommendations made all the difference, allowing us to explore some of the best vineyards in the area. We truly appreciated her attention to detail and her willingness to cater to our preferences. The accommodation itself was charming and comfortable, providing the perfect home base for our adventures. The festive atmosphere during our stay added an extra layer of joy to our experience, making it feel truly special. Overall, Lauradale Accommodation exceeded our expectations, and we are grateful to the entire team for their hospitality. To spite being close to a major road (easy to find!), it was a quiet, peaceful little piece of paradise. The pools were beautiful (too cold to use but lovely to sit and relax by). The apartment was spacious and well appointed. The bed and linens were great. The shower was outstanding! The bathroom amenities smelled so good and were of better quality that we have come across so far. We loved the wood braai that Jonnrae (sp?) set up for us each day and cleaned away the mess. That guy works very hard and is so pleasant. The breakfast was delicious! The ladies cooking were so friendly and the hot food was as to order. Anna was amazing! Excellent communication, went out of her way to be helpful, so friendly always. The team was instantly responsive to any issues (we didn’t understand the TV set up). The views were lovely, like being out in the country. They have a good security system which we were grateful for. Just peace of mind, not because we felt it was needed.

No fat red wine glasses in the room. That is literally it, awesome place. Would love to stay for a much longer time!

Lovely appartment, modern and clean. Very comfy bed, a nice fireplace and a lovely view over rolling hills. Lovely and welcoming staff, especially breakfast staff. The fresh fruit salad was especially appreciated and the extra firewood we asked for

open shower in the bedroom (brings too much mist into bedroom and humidity) and no refill of coffee, milk and tea the second day unfortunately. And there are no shops nearby so you do need a car or call a raxi for anything

The location was a challenge for us, no shops nearby other than the convenient store at the garage. The aircon did jot work, so we had to make a fire to keep warm

It was a spacious house, with comfortable rooms, the swimming pool was an added bonus on a hot day. The staff were really friendly and helpful and communication was good. The breakfast omlette was amazing. Lovely view too. We enjoyed out stay

Overall we enjoyed our stay with only a few minor issues that didnt really impact our stay too much such as the wifi being very poor, there were a few plug sockets that were lose and didnt work and the kitchen cupboards were abit dirty.

Upon our arrival late at night the lit fireplace not only warmed the room but warmed our hearts as well. Anna and her team are friendly and welcoming. Lauradale is peaceful and has wonderful farm vibes. The views from the rooms are spectacular. Lauradale is located centrally - not a long drive to Stellenbosch CBD, Cape Town CBD, Kuils River, Franschhoek even Kalk Bay, Fishoek weren’t that far.

Breakfast was okayish. It could do with some “wawawoom”.

First and foremost, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Anna for her outstanding efforts in ensuring our stay was nothing short of exceptional. From meticulously preparing the house to guiding us through the property, Anna’s dedication to our comfort was evident at every turn. Nestled in a secure location surrounded by picturesque wine farms, the Lavender home provided us with everything we could possibly need. Each bedroom boasted its own en-suite, while the well-equipped kitchen catered to our culinary needs with ample utensils and crockery. The entire house was immaculately clean, and the presence of two pools on the property added to our enjoyment. Each morning, we were greeted with fresh, delectable breakfast fare, with the croissants being a particular highlight of our stay.

Our apartment was much bigger than we expected and exceeded expectations. The shower was amazing! It was cosy, comfortable and perfect for pur 3 nights stay. We stayed in the Lily apartment opposite the wonderful pool which we used a few times. Parking was easy and security was great. The breakfast was delicious! The omelette was so yummy, plenty of tea and coffee, cereals, bread and strong cheese.

Nothing, everything was fabulous.

Oh my word what a gem of a place. The rooms were stunning and neat with everything you needed. Lovely white fresh bedding and towels. We had such a good night sleep. Has a very tranquil serene atmosphere. Anna and a younger lady ( did not get her name, could be Angie) what lovely hosts. The breakfast was delicious and even the ladies doing the breakfast was so Pleasant. I will definitely be back to this gem
