Quiet and peaceful while still close enough to central town (short drive). Just down the road from a weekend market and beach-side restaurant. Nice balcony for an early morning cup of coffee or evening braai (there is a braai facility on the terrace).

I sacrificed a Booking.com discount for what I recall mention of a "river view" in the list of features. While our balcony did face in the direction of the river, we could not actually see it due to the residences across the road. However, the view is still quite nice and open due to the presence of a very nice garden/park across the road.

Pleasantly surprised by the size of the unit, nicely furnished with excellent security. Check in and check out was painless. Jill informed us of activities happening and we managed to purchase two lovely paintings from local artists during our stay 🤩 The unit is equipped with everything you may need to enjoy your stay - DSTV, games, dishwasher, washing machine, a lock up garage and so much more 🤩

Other than the somewhat noisy neighbors (not the host’s fault), I loved everything about this place!!

Our stay at Osler Place Self-Catering was lovely and memorable. The space was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with a fully equipped kitchen that made cooking a breeze. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The host was very helpful and friendly, providing local tips and ensuring we had everything we needed for a smooth stay. The location was perfect—quiet yet convenient for exploring the area. I highly recommend this guesthouse and will definitely return!

Lovely relaxed stay. Easy to walk - close to beach, river, shopping. This is how a beach holiday should be - no fuss, clean, easy living. Friendly staff. Perfect size for a family stay. Safe area with garage. Best to sit on balcony in the morning with a coffee and watch how Stillbay awakes.

Curtains not lined/no blinds - at night the rooms where exposed to the outside lights/neighbours porch light. Second bathroom shower head needs attending. Couldnt find oven mitts 😆

Very spacious and comfortable 3 bedroom unit. Nice that the main bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom with shower. The rooms are very spaceous and the unit has a large balcony with braai area that is fantastic for a chilled evening braai. It is close to the river and not far from the beach, and there are shops right next door which make it super convenient when you need something. The host was also very responsive over whatsapp, and even quickly organized us an additional nights stay at last minutes notice.

The shower door is getting a little old and needs some maintenance, but otherwise all good. There was no hairdryer which would be a convenient addition.

I liked the layout of the kitchen with the big table. Thank you for the heater as well as the electrical blankets. Thank you for providing bottled water, the rusks and the hot chocolate. Parking my car in the lockup garage also gave me peace of mind. I appreciated how quickly the owner solved a problem with the electricity.

The separate bathroom is rather dark at night. Maybe another source of light would solved this?

Hi Jill 🪻 I have had a very good weekend in Still Bay. I am glad that I've chosen to stay at Osler Place. Everything was just so wonderful, especially the effort you took to make a child felt at peace with all the puzzle games, blocks and other stuff. We all loved our stay and will surely choose Osler Place for a next time to.

For my wife, our three children, and me, it was the perfect weekend getaway. Our stay was absolutely wonderful—the location couldn’t have been better. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, with everything we could possibly need and more. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

The Unit was well equipped but does need some updating and repairs. The kitchen sink and bathrooms could do with a facelift. Moisture problems were evident in some of the walls - bubbling paint.

There was nothing we didn't like about the property. Just needs some attention.

The apartment is spacious, safe and secure parking. You can leave your vehicle inside a garage. Tea, coffee, sugar and rusks were provided. Bedding is white, good quality and clean. Towels, soap, toiletries were provided as well as a dishwashing tablet for the dishwasher.

No negative remarks. There was a fan/heater, hair dryer as well as extra blankets if needed. We could not seem to find oven mits.
