Breakfast was good, staff had an amazing hospitality.

All was perfect, i am definitely coming back.

Location :The lodge is located perfectly in a corner and easy to navigate. The staff is very warm and friendly towards clients and we're able to accommodate us when we requested to check in early in order to freshen up for our next appointment after a long drive.

I think the carpet needs washing and toilet and shower are too tiny and cramped up. An oversized person would not be comfortable to use them

Vryheid is conveniently located between the coast and the Drakensberg. The property is a short walk from the centre of town. The rooms are comfortable and a superb breakfast is provided. The property has many plants.

Personally I like freshly squeezed juice for breakfast but I realize this isn’t important to most guests. The absence of freshly squeezed juice is largely compensated for by a superb selection of fresh fruit. The room had a slight “background” odour.

Nice spacious and clean ensuite (bathroom) Comfortable bed, spacious clean and functional room. Friendly staffs. NB: we arrived late after reception was closed, but they made arrangements for us to easly check in. Delicious breakfast Easy and closer access to main road.

We booked through the bookings.com app for two nights (Monday and Tuesday) and we stayed for an extra couple of nights. I should have booked the other two nights (Wednesday and Friday) we stayed through the bookings app as we paid more over the counter than we paid through the app.

We were very happy with our stay at Oxford. The staff were lovely, especially Menzi who was very helpful. The breakfast was very nice and the hotel courtyard gardens were lovely. Felt like a little oasis. The rooms were very clean and comfy and had everything we required.

The only thing was that the shower leaked all over the floor (Room 33) but it’s just a plumbing issue that a quick fix will resolve.

Reception was very friendly from the doorwatchman onwards. We were in a pickle due to problems on the road and a little stressed but the effiecency at th venue had a calming effect on us.

It was my forth or firth time using oxford lodge as my accommodation away from home. The service is always exceptional and the staff is very welcoming and friendly not to mention the manager that guys is the best!

Location was good. Enjoyed the breakfast. Home cooking standard breakfast. Food tasted fresh!

The control of access was a problem. Had to wait for access to be opened.
