The hotel and the room are very clean. The owner is incredibly sweet and kind and will help you with everything, regardless of the little English she knows. It’s nice that breakfast is included, however we only used it once during the three day stay because of our plans. The location of the hotel is good if you want to be close to the beach. There is a bus stop literally one minute away from the hotel that can take you either north of south, very convenient and easy to navigate. If you want to be more in the city, I would book something near Busan station.

Two things could make the hotel even better, in my opinion. One would be some decorations on the walls in the hallway and in the room. Two would be a shower curtain and a good shower holder so you can stand under the water without holding the showerhead.

I really enjoy the staff! The room was quite big and in the bathroom there was enough space. It could be a little noisy because of the main road just there, but the bus station is in front of the hotel and you can take the bus to downtown, metro line 2 (green) just 10 min walking. Simple but tasting breakfast (toast with jam, excellent coffee, boiled eggs, yogurt).

There’s not an elevator. We enjoyed the breakfast but I suppose that after 4 days it could be too repetitive. I would have appreciated a small lamp near the bed.

The owner was extremely kind all the time, she was always available to offer anything from the cafeteria and everything was eventually included in the original cost. The cleaning was exceptional, the location as well - it was only a couple of minutes walking to the Gwangalli beach, and around 10 minutes walking to the metro. Although there was a lot of noise coming from the street, the windows perfectly blocked most of it when closed.

I had a little issues with the intensity of the A/C, and eventually caught a cold because of it, but that was a problem everywhere around Busan. The breakfast was good, but very simple. They offered room cleaning every day, however they always changed everything, including throwing out the soap and giving you a new one, changing the sheets and towels or toilet paper and even leaving the lights and A/C turned on, which I found extremely unsustainable and preferred not to get my room cleaned.

The lovely owner was so accommodating to our requests. We needed extra pillows and she found some. I also needed an iron for my Sunday church dress and she accommodated. She didn't speak English well but what little English she knew we could still communicate (also thank goodness for translator app). There was a lovely local church nearby, a laundromat 6 mins walk away, beach is accessible. Bus stop was right outside the main door, metro was about 12mins walk away. We had a wonderful stay. Also, I enjoyed sitting in the main area and people watched while reading and helping myself to cold water. Breakfast was simple and modest, exactly what we needed to start off our day given most cafes in the area don't open til 10am. Thank you Woodhouse for taking good care of us.

I was a bit castrophobic at first with lower ceilings, but got used to it eventually.

The host was really nice and helpful, she did anything she could to help me figuring out how to get my destination. They provide simple but delicious breakfast. The location is really near the beach and there’re a lot of restaurants there, however it’s a bit far from the metro station, but taking a bus is also a nice choice. It’s cold in winter in Busan, but inside the room is very warm especially the floor which we really appreciate it 🥹

The mattress and the pillows are a little bit too soft for us.

So much to like in this lovely hotel. From the size of the rooms, to the cleanliness, to the wonderful staff. In addition, the accommodation is within close walking distance to Gwangalli Beach, and there is a bus stop almost outside the hotel with direct connection to Busan Station (via #41) which suits anyone coming in by train.

This is far from a dislike, but rather a note to fellow light sleepers. The property faces a busy road and if you, like me, get a room to the front I recommend ear plugs. They worked a treat and I slept well during each night of my stay.

This was easily the cleanest room we have stayed in a long time. Not only for a “hostel”, but I have been to expensive 5 star hotels less spotless than this. Easy to catch a bus in front, and the metro isn’t too far either.

The breakfast consist of toast and egg. No variety. Still not bad and friendly service. Just know what to expect. Something in your stomach before your first adventure of the day.

Hostess was kind and concerned about the guest’s comfort. Easy access to many restaurants/cafes, bus and subway stations, and 5 minute walk to Gwangalli Beach. A simple complimentary breakfast is served by the hostess. While there is some traffic noise, quiet at night. Excellent value for a no frills stay

The location is great, it's just next to the bus stop for the bus going into the city and only 10min away from the sea. We had the room away from the road so it was nice and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is simple but nice and the owner was so kind and helpful. We had to take a taxi to the air and she kindly booked it for us. Looking forward to coming back.

The location was perfect since it was very close to the beach, just about 5 mins walk away. Also, the lady that runs the hotel is very nice and helpful to give directions. Though communication might be difficult due to limited English, she is still willing to give her best to provide assistance. I would definitely recommend and would come back next time I visit Busan.
