This hotel is very cute and cosy. We arrived quite early and the owner kindly let us store our bags and use the shower facilities as the rooms weren't ready. The rooms are very clean and tidy. The water was nice and hot. Like many places in South Korea, even the value/budget hotels are really well equipped with toiletries, accessories and supplies in the room. The room had lots of clean water in the room. The electric blankets were great! The hotel is very close to a large public park, Duryu Park, including the Seongdong Pool. This area is great to walk or relax in, especially at cherry blossom time as it was when we visited. The hotel is not super close to the centre of town, but Daegu is so well-connected by the metro and buses that that is not a problem, and the hotel is only about 5 minutes walk from the nearest metro station. This walk was easy and simple even with luggage. Just a note that there were quite a few stairs, however there were rooms on the first floor for accessibility. Not really a criticism though, just need to fill the box!

Just a note really that my (Australian) visa debit card did not work to pay for the room on check-in. I had no problems with it elsewhere in the country, but maybe have cash or another card on hand as backup if you have the same problem at this property.

Good location. Easier to walk from Seobu Bus Terminal Metro station, straight walk, than from Daemyeong. Daizo supermarket walkable distance from metro. Bus stop 50 meter away. Easy to go to airport by bus. Take bus 618 and change to 401 at same stop halfway.. Park opposite side. Spacious room and wash room.

Reception - sweet old lady who was eternally sleeping! But helpful when woken up. Room wifi not very strong.

For 32,000KRW a night and for its location, it is really unbeatable value! I even got a disposable dental hygiene set, a shaver, and facial foam. I got the special rooms on the back side of the property and it was huge! I didn’t have trouble finding the place, the entrance faced the main road and its big yellow sign (albeit in Hangeul) was obvious from the road. The nice ajuma at the front desk offered me an umbrella even after I checked out!

The hot water gets reduced to roughly room temperature water (around 25-27 degrees C) when I tried to shower at 11pm. But in the morning it got back up to scalding hot. The ajuma running the front desk only speaks Korean, but she’s familiar with using Google translate on your phone.

The ladies running the place were really nice and lovely, don't speak English but they were okay with using translation apps (such as Papago). The room was very clean, big bathroom with bathtub, table to eat at, TV, refrigerator, water dispenser, fan and AC. Calm area close to Duryu Park, and easy to get to Apsan mountain by bus. Bus station, metro station, and convenience stores are located nearby. Fair price!

The place looks very old, even if everything works it feels a bit off somehow. The location is good depending on what you want to do in Daegu - it's close to nature but "far" (20 min by bus) from the downtown area where you'd go to enjoy the night life with bars and clubs etc. Mosquitoes get inside in the most mysterious way, one of the nights I spent fighting the little buzzing blood sucking creatures instead of sleeping, which wasn't great...

During my recent stay at a cozy hotel, I was truly amazed by the kindness and helpfulness of the owner, an elderly lady. Despite the language barrier as I didn't know Korean, she went above and beyond to assist me. Using her mobile phone, she diligently translated everything into English, ensuring effective communication. Her willingness to bridge the gap made me feel welcomed and valued. One particular instance left a lasting impression on me. As I was checking out from the hotel, I noticed it was drizzling outside. Without hesitation, the old lady presented me with a beautiful umbrella to shield me from the rain. Astonishingly, she didn't charge me for it, displaying her genuine generosity and concern for my well-being. The hotel room itself was impeccably clean and provided a tranquil atmosphere. Despite the presence of other guests in neighboring rooms, I was pleasantly surprised by the peacefulness and serenity I experienced. It created a perfect environment for relaxation and rejuvenation after a long day of exploring. Overall, my stay at this hotel was nothing short of remarkable. The owner's helpful nature, her adept use of technology to overcome language barriers, and the unexpected gift of an umbrella made my experience truly memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable, peaceful, and welcoming accommodation.

That it is far from the heart of the city.

The motel is perfectly situated, nearby to the subway, and with many buses at the door. The neighbourhood is safe and quiet, just in front is one of most iconic parks of Daegu. The room is very spacious, with a comfortable bed. The staff is friendly. A very good choice in price and facilities. Perfect for you stay without paying so much!!!

Excellent stay for the price. Good customer service and very clean. No cigarette smell in the rooms which is a huge bonus! And it's located just across from Duryu park. The bed was a little firm for my liking but still had great sleep with the blackout curtains! Will definitely stay again! :)

The staff (a woman who helped me check in) was very nice! The room was big and clean and there was a bathtub in the bathroom. It's quite close to a metro station.

The warm water for the bath seemed to run out quickly. I tried to take a bath and I got some hot water, but after that and the next days there was only cold water.

Very good value. It is not stylish, but it has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Good location.

I didn't like the synthetic fiber pillow cover and bedsheet. The minifridge and drinking water fountain in the room were noisy, but I unplugged them at night.

Well connected, close to the express bus station and metro line. There is nice park just across the street. Room is quite big, clean and with all necessities. Very cheap and well mainteined
