Top option for Alpensia as the ski hill is directly outside the hotel. Staff were nice. Rooms comfortable, clean and spacious. Amazing shower! I only gave a 9 rating as I found the food options so limited. They have one main restaurant that serves buffet breakfast but for a family of 5 with 3 kids, this would have been too expensive and not worth it for 6 days as the kids don't eat enough to warrant the price. The cafe was hardly ever staffed and just had a few bread options. Made breakfast for families tricky before heading out for a day of skiing. There is no grocery store nearby, just convinience stores so for the western pallet, we really struggled without fresh fruit and vegetables on a daily basis. Found it strange that there was a Christmas tree and decorations in the lobby at the end of February. Overall, very happy with the hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Alpensia. I would just recommend bringing breakfast foods, fruit and veggies with you if you aren't doing the breakfast buffet. Would also recommend the hotel offer more options in their cafe.

Very efficient check-in and check-out. Staff were very friendly, fast and responsive, even housekeeping. Doorstep to ski sport. Super love it!!! Close to a lot of restaurants and convenience store. The view from room was spellbinding.

Breakfast buffet selection attractive to young children are generally carbs (bread, waffle, fries) and bacon for 3 days straight. Would be nice to have different selection daily for long stay family. E.g. pancake, hashbrown, list of available made to order omelette with toppings like tomatoes, cheese etc at the egg station. Toilet seat is toooo cold at anytime of the day during winter. Would be good to have smart toilet for seat temperature control. Bed is too small for a larger size room. Could have been a larger King bed for larger size room.

Booked at the hotel because it was next to the ski slopes. Didn't have to drive again after we arrived and parked. Housekeeping did a good job every day. Front desk was friendly and patient. Nice fragrance in the building. Room layout, size, design was comfy enough for 3 nights. Enjoyed the various dining options at the resort, and convenience of CUs. Beginner and intermediate slopes were good for learning.

There are two kids room options. The one I booked was for families with little kids since the bunk beds were only about 5 feet long. There were miscommunication on the price of the breakfast buffet at Mont Blanc for accompanying children. The restaurant temperature was cold at breakfast and at dinner. Restaurant staff didn't clear dishes and cups at breakfast. There's only one beginner and one intermediate slope. The beginner slope got crowded as the day went on. Slopes got icy by late afternoon.

Excellent place to stay if skiing at Alpensia. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, access to the ski facilities and slopes unbeatable, good buffet breakfast available as well...although it is a bit pricey. The restaurant serves tasty food for lunch and dinner although the menu does not have a great deal of variety. Staff at the restaurant are always friendly and accommodating.

The fireplace in the lounge / bar area was never lit. It would have been a nice extra and added to the ambience. The bunk beds in the family room are also on the short side (1.5 m) so families booking these rooms should be aware of this if kids are tall.

The staff was friendly and rooms was quite clean and big. Bathroom was also spacious. Location is good as it is right in the middle and so near the ski location. Plenty of eateries around and the restaurant in the hotel is not too bad.

The room we booked was the futon type. Though we expected that we would be sleeping by the floor, the futon was way too thin and to make it worse, there was no proper pillow but some small bean bags. Probably was a traditional Korean style but it's not comfortable and I even had a stiff neck the second night. If you really want to sleep comfortably, you might have to consider the rooms with proper bedding. The casino linked to the Hotel was also closed.

The location is perfect and convenient. Our veranda faced the slopes. The room was very large and comfortable.

There is a light in the small hall in front of the bathroom that turns on upon motion. That means that whenever someone wanted to go to the bathroom in the evening this person would wake up the others because the light would necessarily illuminate a great part of the room. I asked the reception but apparently they could not turn off the motion detection feature. The breakfast was also very pricey.

Location (within a village/compound and within walking distance to ski slope), amenities, big rooms. It is a short 10-min drive to Hoenggye (town) which has Daiso, Paris Baguette and J Mart. Few foreigners. Basic Korean knowledge is preferred.

Sometimes not enough parking lots. Consider arranging shuttle bus from Incheon airport to hotel for foreign guests who don't drive but want to ski (like in Niseko). Provide shuttle bus to neayby town (for guests who don't drive)

The rooms are spacious with ski slope view. Location is next to Alpensia Ski Resort. Lots of restaurants and convenient stores around (like a small village). There are activities for kids. Also had basement parking which is good especially when it snows. You get 30% discount on ski lift and gear rentals when staying here. Would definitely come back.

Would be better if they had a smart toilet. Restaurant had limited menu.

Helpful and polite staff who went out of their way in cold rainy weather to help get our luggage from the Welcome Ski Centre to Holiday Inn Resort which was some 300m away on paths thick with snow. He smartly led us through from the carpark instead.

Mont Blanc restaurant a little underwhelming on lunch menu selection. recommend the local eateries within the resort compound.

the location was fantastic and a lot of foods around the hotel, the ski shop is also nearby. If you go on winter, make sure you dress up properly when going there, the moment we get out from the bus, almost non-stop of strong wind blow and luggages also started to roll away (medium and below size), as going to this resort required abt 10mins walk depending on the road condition if it is cover with snow or not. With snow, no joke as you will need to drag your luggage instead of usual push. From the hotel to the ski slope, just need to walk out via the side door in the cafe at the lobby, you will then reach the ski slope and just need to walk about 3 to 5minutes depending on your speed, you will reach the ski booking counter. The down side of the side door is very difficult to open, imagine you are in super cold weather while struggling to use more energy to pull the glass door, no joke. Overall the room is spacious, have a lot of area for you to hang your jacket, cloths, and area to store your shoes.. My parent selected the traditional room type and they regretted as the mattress is thin but the hotel is kind enough for them to change to bedding type, hence for those that cant sleep on hard surface, my advice is to get the bedding types I didn't get to try the food from the restaurant in the hotel, but I went to check out the price, it is like SG hardrock price so it is not too bad and affordable.. Overall experience in this hotel is really good, economy yet have high standard. highly recommended.

1/ we have 2 rooms and only allow 1 room for late check out. will be good if can be a bit more flexible. Do note, I only ask for late check out by 12pm not 2pm/3pm9 2/ 1 of the staff from the cafe was not friendly and scold us for using 1 of the side entrance (we are using that because the usual side entrance either the door is lock 8/9pm or it's way too difficult to pull, we just cant open it) which is for staff only BUT there is NO SIGN indicated from outside saying this is for staff only! the sign is seen from inside. Still, I do not get it why hotel guest no allow to use it?
