Good breakfast and I didnt expect it to be included on my reservation since I specifically didnt purchase it. Maybe they made a mistake since I had 2 reservations or they were being nice. I had the ondol room first which was not so good but I dont think I am the intended audience. I thought it would be cool but it's just a thin mat on the floor, and I mean thin. As in, I'd be annoyed if I slept there for free, never mind paying for it. The second room, an ocean view twin room with a large double bed was much better, no complaints at all. If I had known breakfast would be included and that the ondol room was so foreign to what I expect from a hotel room I would have chosen it from the start. But no big deal about it. Also the internet is extremely fast. Typing this from a hotel with 1MB/s capped internet, ShinShin has 10+MB/s connection.

Rooms have a large refrigerator but no microwave, there is one on the first floor. And no option for "do not disturb", the maid always knocks and then you have to ask for everything piecemeal. There were Thai maids on the 8th floor, they were much more professional, when they knocked, they had everything ready to give to me (towel, 2 waters, coffee), no fuss. Korean maids on 3rd floor were persnickety about stuff. No big deal. Cleaning when I wasnt there was otherwise good.

Breakfast was good, Got Korean food and small buffet to choose from. Room with Sea View. TV has 100 over channels but TV difficult to turn on. Wash machine works well in room but no dryer, so have to hang all over the room wait to dry. Room door has a stopper attached, useful for me when I go to 2nd room. Have a kitchen sink but no stove or microwave, Have kettle to boil water. Walk to famous market is nearby, 3 mins walk away. Food options is a bit limited as some eateries not open, maybe it's non-peak tourist season in Nov/Dec. Bed was hard for hubby but good for me. Bonus was a walk in closet for each room, we love that. :)

Staff not very friendly but polite, Limited English. I wanted to get 2nd card as we have 2 rooms, staff do not understand. have to use Google Translate to help. 2nd card needs a 10,000 won deposit. Bathroom is small but good enough. Parking within hotel building is very limited but the opposite is Shin Shin Ocean hotel, so can park there too.

The hotel has a very good location in the city, very close to local markets, souvenir shops, the night market, cafes, and more. It's a very quiet and safe place. The rooms are very spacious and appear to have been recently renovated, as the amenities look brand new. Everything works very well in the room. The breakfast is relatively good, with a selection of Korean and international dishes. I think I would recommend this hotel if you want to spend a few days in Seogwipo.

Overall, I liked this hotel, but I did notice the hallways were a bit dirty, perhaps due to the use of carpets. There was dirt, coffee, or spilled water in many places. At first, this worried me a little, but fortunately, everything inside the rooms is very clean. The problem with the dirt is only outside, in the hallways.

Breakfast is good as the menu changes daily -a good variety of local & western food, except no English tea. Location is close to Olle market, culture street & restaurants.

1) pillows were too soft & low. Request for a extra pillows was not met 2) the hotel should certainly supply a new set of bath towels. All the towels had holes in them so they are definitely to be discarded. 3) it’s a triple room but there were only 2 hangers. We asked for me & given old crooked ones 4) there was not even one chair in the room so had to sit on the bed when we had a drink. Generally hotel is value for money but pls look into problems 2,3,4 which will not cost more he hotel a lot to rectify.

The room looked like an officetel (Korean-type studio flat) complete with washing machine and refrigerator. This was good as we got to do laundry and we dried our clothes in the room. The Queen-size bed was clean and firm, and the pillows were OK. There are many storage spaces and a small closet. The bathroom was clean. We got clean bath & hand towels and 2 small bottles of mineral water everyday. The Wi-Fi was good and strong. There is kettle to boil water, 2 sets of mugs & cups, plus instant coffee & green tea. The hotel staffs were polite and could communicate in English. The hotel is closed to few restaurants (along Seongwipo-Myeongdong-ro, where there's some good Jeju pork BBQ restaurants), Cafes and convenience stores. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

The room is not cleaned every day, unless you asked for it. The shower stall didn't close properly, so the bathroom floor was quite wet. We ended putting one bath towel on the floor. There were insufficient hangers in the bathroom for the towels. The furniture looked OK, although the side table top looked dented, like something heavy was on it or someone stepped on it. We had small issue with parking our rental car on first day, and later, we were told to park at the hotel garage of Shin Shin's sister hotel across the street.

The view is great. sea view wt sunrise. Amazed by the furnitures. With walk in walldrobe.Alots cabinet and rack for clothes storages even for a family of 4. Washing machine is available. No need to worry about drying even during winter. Just need to open the curtain, with sunlight, clothes are dry within a day. It is actually a service apartment to me. Location is good. 2 convenient shops nearby, alots good restaurants providing local food. Within walking distance to Seogwipo Maeil Olle market

This was my 2nd time staying in the hotel. Parking was free and convenient. There's a washing machine in the room. Closet with decent size was also available. Very close to the traditional market. And there are a lot of good restaurants nearby. Convenient stores are close. And I love the small shop named Jungseop Munhwa Workshop. You MUST check out the store sibilings Jason and Clara run. It's a family owned little shop with a lot of cool stuff. And they are extremely friendly showing you around.

Parking can be scary because it's very narrow. If you are not super confident in driving, that can be scary at times.

The hotel is located at the intersection of several buses lines. Perfect if you don't have a car and want to explore the whole island. The room junior suite (1 double bed and a single bed), had a beautiful view on the sea, beds were really confortable, there is a bidet in the toilet, the walking wardrobe is convenient. There's also a washing machine (you have to buy your own laundry detergent) and we used hangers to dry our clothes quickly. Mr Lee at the reception is outstanding and will answer any questions you have and go the extra miles. Ask him about the beautiful sashimi /sushi restaurant near Olle market. You also have at least 4 convenience stores just outside the hotel.

The kitchenette only has 2 mugs and no utensils at all, no plates, no washing liquid etc. You can only use the sink. There's also no microwave. Should you follow any kind of diet, the breakfast is not made for you but you have few coffee places nearby.

I loved the spacious space with the 2 closets, the rain shower, the AC as part of the ceiling, the laundry machine with the foldable rack as part of the desk to dry my clothes and the free parking. It is always nice to be able to wash my clothes during my trip. The staff was also lovely.

I don't know why but I kept smelling smoke during 2 of my 3 nights as if someone from nearby room was smoking and it went through the vent. The cleaning staff was nice enough to provide a spray for the smell.
