The view from our balcony was very nice and location was good. Bathroom was pretty big and comfortable. There's a cafe and convenience store at the lobby, where we could get toothpaste since there seems to be a law against providing such environmentally-unfriendly amenities now. Check-in was smooth and we were upgraded to room with a double and single bed.

We tried to get some advice from the reception on taking the bus to Seoul, but there was a language barrier and she didn't seem super keen to help us, so of not much help. The lady on the day shift seems to speak better English and is friendlier.

The room was very clean with comfy beds. Breath-taking sea-view with the balcony. The breakfast buffet was beyond awesome - included lots of options and were tasty. Friendly and professional staff to assist with all the needs. Convenience store right at the lobby, which helped in getting immediate needs. Walking distance to the shops and Sokcho Jung Ang Market, too!

During busy hours, elevators were busy and crowded, which took some time. Elevator control panel needs some time to be learnt. The soap, shampoo and body wash weren't the best to use - I think pumps would work better than squeeze containers. The 3rd floor terrace was a great space - it would be nice to have this space temperature-controlled as it was quite chilly.

The room was comfortable and clean. We had a great view of the mountains and part of the harbour. The roof and terrace level provided great views of the whole city. The front desk staff were amazing and made our stay. A young man with great English went out of his way to help us out with issues we had with the massage chairs. A young lady opened our wine bottle for us in the lobby after she saw us struggling and even offered to provide a glass. They also called a taxi for us upon leaving the hotel. I can't praise them enough and all four of them that were working during our stay helped us out at some point. Great customer service. Prices were worth what I paid. I would stay here again without doubt.

The laundry facilities had a terrible smell and there was mold around the ducts. They were also a bit expensive for short cycles so we paid a lot to dry our clothes. The massage chairs say coins in English but only take bank notes. This is only explained on the machines in Korean so we learnt the hard way.

Location was great, big room with very nice view. Value for money. We would like to commend the hotel concierge staff "Mr Kim Hyeok Gi" for his amazing service. Our rental car could not be opened as the battery probably died, we also had no phone number to call lotte rental thus he had helped us to contact the service centre and translated for us in Korean to English. The whole time he was very patient. Thank you for your help during a stressful period, my whole family appreciates your kindness and patience.

parking was convenient but there was no sign to tell us to park opposite if the hotel car park is filled. We had to drive 1 more big round to get to the 2nd carpark which was opposite.

Location is good. Many shops and restaurant within walking distance. Popular Sokcho Fish Market just about 8mins walking from hotel. About 20mins by Taxi to Seoraksan NP. One mini-mart within hotel and another just across the street. Breakfast has lot of variety. Mostly Korean style. Like the room spacious and comfortable. Sound proofing is quite good. Like the Roof top view. Time right can catch morning sunrise from sea.

Daily breakfast is almost the same through my 3 days stay. Not much bread variety if you like bread. No cheese.

We stay 4 nights at the hotel and use Sea Cruise Hotel as the base to explore Sokcho and the surrounding area. The stay is comfortable and relaxing, big room and nice view, nearby bus stations leads you to all the places we want to go, Mountain National park, Sokcho Beach and express bus station..... The hotel is also close to the tourism and fishery market and many attractions around. We found the area is quiet and secure, Sokcho is one our best travel memories during our 10 day itinerary in South Korea. So we are confident to recommend the hotel to all Booking.com travelers.

Hotel: clean and tidy. with mountain or sea views. There is an entrance to a convenience store inside the hotel. So if you want to save money on restaurants or cafes, you can buy ramen, salads, sausages, fruit in jelly, etc. And cook in your room. Room: Clean and comfortable. Good water pressure in the shower. There is a kettle and tea/coffee. The water in the room was renewed every day. A nightgown in the form of pants / shorts and sweaters was also provided. Bed, pillow and blanket comfortable, soft, pleasant to sleep. Breakfasts and lunches are available at an additional cost. Breakfast is quite varied and fresh vegetables, herbs, salads, etc. There is coffee/tea. The hotel lobby has large massage chairs for an additional charge. The staff is polite and friendly. If you have questions, then everyone is willing to help. Toothbrushes and paste are not included in the room rate. In the lobby there is an apparatus where you can buy such a kit for brushing your teeth

The bed in the room was comfortable and spacious. The view from the balcony was amazing. the breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious. The hotel is close to the bus stop for the bus that goes to the express bus terminal and to Seoraksan.

Some parts of the hotel, like the bathrooms, were a little bit undermaintained. The evening staff spoke English well, but the morning staff struggled a bit to explain to me how to get to the bus stop.

Very good rooms, with lovely views, good amenities. Staff very efficient. A big hotel that services tour buses. Breakfast was available at about NZD $25 per person. This was a buffet style with a wide array of dishes. Easy to walk to market or around the waterfront. Washers and dryers available, coin operated. Bus to Seoraksan National Park 3 minute walk. Express bus station, where buses from Seoul arrive is about 3km away. Taxi cost NZD$8.

The hotel is in the middle of the center of Sokcho. When you're a little high up in the hotel you get excellent views during the day and night. There's also a rooftop viewing area for the top view of Sokcho. The hotel also offers free parking in the basement of the hotel. The rooms are clean an relatively spacious. The breakfast is elaborate. If you're a big eater then it's worth the price. If you're not then consider the convenience store that has an entrance to the hotel lobby.

There was nothing we didn't like.
