These apartments are great for a family vacation with children — clean, tidy, and with comfortable beds. Cleaning is provided only for stays longer than 3 days. There’s a large pool that’s perfect for kids, the deepest 1.2m. Across the road, there’s a walking trail along the lake and a big supermarket. It takes 10min by car till Sokcho beach.

The downside is that cooking in the rooms is strictly prohibited — it’s only allowed in the shared kitchen located in another building.

Room was very bright and clean. Large bathroom, had great water pressure. A/C unit was quiet and kept the room cool. Room had a in room laundry machine which was an added bonus. Room has a minimalist look to it which I like. Windows that open to let in fresh air. They offer a lot of options for families. Lots of restaurants near by within walking distance. Convince store across the street too.

Better signage as to where to check in when you arrive in a car. There are extra fees to use some of the facilities that I was not aware of but it didn't affect my stay. As it's around 900 plus rooms you often need to wait for elevators. Parking downstairs could do with better signage for entering and exiting and where to check in. I spoke to a few people and they all agreed that information could be better.

Let's state that right from the start: yes, the place was brand new at the time of the writing, so the facilities looked new, felt new, and even smelled new, and were exactly the way they look in the pictures. But let's be honest also: don't expect to find a luxury resort, we're not in that price range. The kids loved playing in the pool despite the lack of any waterpark-like installation around; but yeah, it's just a pool with a handful of rentable canopies next to it, probably better suited to pool parties with young and attractive folks. There are a few other facilities we did not have the time to try out such as indoor (paid) and outdoor (free) playgrounds for kids, an AV room (no idea what it is), and a fitness centre. A very nice stay overall in a nice city.

Garbage disposal is a bit messy, done directly on the ground in a corner of the underground parking lot, the smell is a bit "distracting" especially in the middle of the summer. While the staff was very friendly, the place is a bit dehumanised, maybe to cut costs, maybe for increased efficiency, maybe for a bit of both: check-in and check-out can be done on automated machines, snacks are sold in vending machines (including around the pool), staff number is pretty low.

Room size was expected from photos. Very clean and new.

Way too many people in the pool, they charged for swim towels (3,000 won each), no parking spaces available when we returned late our last night (people were double parked, parking anywhere they could fit in the garage), beach was a 15 minute drive.

Clean and close to the lake. Nice facilities for kids.

You only can use the common kitchen once a day. Too much restriction for a vacational vibe.

The warm outside pool was a hit for our teenager. I enjoyed the sauna and roof top vue !

Location is walkable to most restaurants and has excellent views!

Would have liked to have had a bidet and more towels.
