Quite away from most things however the staff were brilliant (both day and night staff). We arrived quite late and we found it hard to find somewhere to eat in the end went to Burger King!). We stayed 2 nights at the end of our camino and found the rooms the largest we had used in 10 days. Cannot praise the staff more they booked taxi's and carried bags to our room!

Shame they didn't offer breakfast but a nice place just a few doors down who could not do more for us and gave us a brilliant experience. No lift which as I visited with my daughter who brought a ton. However the bag was taken to our room and the night porter brought it down without being asked so not really a problem. We were used to walking so did not mind that it was a long way from the city. It would have been better if the weather was nicer and we had not been looking for things to do.

I really liked the location, the lockers, the bed, the towels, wi-fi and the attention from receptionists (very helpful)

I didn't like that I walked into room service and mixed towels with floor flooring when I told a receptionist that I didn't need such a service. Employee entered the room, didn't clean anything, didn't take out the garbage and even mixed floor with body towels. It was very unpleasant and unnecessary. No me gustó que entré en el servicio de habitaciones y mezclé toallas con el piso cuando le dije a una recepcionista que no necesitaba ese servicio. El empleado entró en la habitación, no limpió nada, no sacó la basura e incluso mezcló el piso con toallas corporales. Era muy desagradable e innecesario.

Spacious room with excellent walking range to all Coruña areas. In the middle of Monte de San Pedro and the torre of Hércules. Quite good if you arrive with car cause there’s free street parking. The sea is 1min walk.

The hotel is not renovated and modern , but still in good condition. No air conditioning nor fridge.

The staff were very helpful, carrying my case in and out because I had mobility issues. (Stairs, no lift). I was lucky to find a parking spot on the street. The location is excellent for the beach and some local restaurants. Bus-stops nearby enabled me to visit the centre and other parts of the city. The room was comfortable but basic and the internet patchy.

Not the problem of Almirante! (This booking was very last-minute because the hotel I had booked closed last December and claim they told Booking.com who did not inform me. Fortunately the owner phoned me as I was on the way from Santander).

Nice, comfy no-frills hotel. Perfect assistance from front desk staff when needed, including providing a hairdryer upon request and helping with luggage. Clean, spacious rooms. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Only one floor of rooms, so there is no lift in the building, but the front desk do assist with heavy luggage. The provided towels could have been a little cleaner (but the rooms were spotless).

The Almirante is a very nice hotel. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Everything in the hotel is very clean and bright. It is a stones throw to the beach, many nice restaurants/cafes and bus lines. It’s a tremendous value!

Very close to the beach, pharmacy, laundromat, good travel connections to buses. 15 min to the main town bit. Good and comfortable beds friendly staff. Easy to find. You do have to leave your key at reception but it is 24hours

Nice, clean, big room. Everybody at the reception was always kind and friendly. A lot of cheap possibilities nearby to grab a breakfast. A few steps from the beach. We booked a room with the sea view and we got it.

Very spacious bright room, comfortable beds and in an excellent location close to the beautiful beaches, also friendly and helpful staff

The position of the shower screen made it a little awkward to get in and out of the bath/shower

We felt so well taken care of in this hotel. Not a lot of bells and whistles, but we didn't need them, and the room was clean, the staff was kind and the location was excellent.
