Excellent value for money - very reasonably priced for a hotel in a prime location during high season. The location was very central and it was easy to walk to the shops, restaurants, beach, city centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel and room were spotlessly clean. Although the hotel is on a busy street, our room was quiet. The beds were very comfortable, and we slept really well.

The room was a little small, but we were more than satisified with our stay because of the location and affordable price.

Very central, near the seafront and easy to find. The room was basic but had everything needed, including a good hot shower, and the bed was comfortable. I had coffee and a croissant for breakfast from the bar downstairs and it was very reasonable.

It was just slightly dated but other than that nothing not to like

The location is perfect for walking around the city and good bus routes nearby. The bed is comfortable and overall is a good value for the price.

Maybe only an issue for people used to sleep with a fan or air conditioner, but it was quite hot in the room. Of course, you can always open the windows but there was road construction plus direct sunshine in the morning so it wasn't ideal for sleeping.

The location was excellent near the beach shopping centre and the old town, the cleanliness of the room, friendly and helpful staff good value for money

The wifi was useless

As I had recently finished walking the Camino Primitivo, I was looking for a place to rest and relax before returning home. This was a great place which had easy access to the promenade where I walked for hours looking at the sites. The staff was friendly and helpful!

Good size room for the price with comfortable beds. Location is close to the seafront and several bars and restaurants. Carrefours express also very close. A great value hotel.

Street was being dug up, looked like a long term job. Good sound proofing in the room , double glazing and metal shutters.

Location, clean, good size of the room. Staff was friendly and answered all questions, also let me leave my luggage after check-out.

Needs are nice and clean, but they could do with a bit of updating, maybe some colour on the walls.and nice lighting

My colleagues and I stayed at Maycar Hotel for three days. Position was really good to move everywhere.

Room was comfortable, shower was great and plenty of towels available. All i wanted.
