Excellent location. Room was great and spacious. Really clean . The staff were pretty friendly especially the cleaning staff and the restaurant staff.

The breakfast wouldn't win any awards. Basic fair and quality. For a boutique hotel breakfast is not up to the standard one would expect. When I checked out the receptionist wasn't there (no problem) and I think it was a manager who was there....never said 'thank you for staying with us or hope everything was ok....safe travels'...nothing just checked me out and that was all....nothing major with this but not a good look from Hotel business point of view...I'd still stay in this hotel as all other staff were nice and accommodating.

I liked this hotel a lot - the city itself is small and quiet outside the tourist season which means you can enjoy the sea & the stars at night peacefully. Go for a room with terrace at the sea side, it's wonderfull and you can hear the sea while sleeping. The room itself was very comfortable and smelled amazing (I find the nice smell in the room very important). We had a fridge and a coffee maker, which was pretty handy. Even outside the tourist season there were a few open restaurants and bars nearby.

We had breakfast included in the price but the member of a hotel staff told us that the restaurant is closed and there will be no breakfast at all. But they gave us a far better room then we booked which can be seen as a compensation.

I liked the interior and design of the hotel with a very nice terrace to overlook the sea. Parking facilities free of charge was appreciated. The breakfast was perfect with lots of variety!

We were annoyed that smoking was permitted. Unfortunately we had to step inside from the balcony and close the door frequently as the neighbour guest was smoking a lot and the wind pushed the smoke to our side making it unbearable to stay outside. A strong suggestion from our side to have a completely smoking free hotel.

Nothing to do with the hotel, but booking.com overcharged me, gave me the run around for the whole of my stay and yet again proved their customers service is as bad as any in the leisy industry. I will be reporting them when I get home. They ruined an otherwise great experience. Their UK help line hasn't worked for five days. The hotel and all at the resort are wonderful, booking .com are awful and yes I am very annoyed.

We had a wonderful and quiet stay at Peña Parda which rests at the left side of the bay. The room without balcony faces the backside of the hotel, overlooking the mountains to the north and the parking lot which offers plenty of space for cars. It's a small hotel but very nice, we loved every minute of our stay. Staff is definitely the best, they are kind, attentive and supportive, this also accounts for the attached restaurant 'Mercato'. They offer room service for the hotel and the restaurant also serves as breakfast area. An area with a wonderful view of the ocean. The hotel room provides extras such as a mini fridge with a welcome gift of mineral water, orange juice and chocolate. There is also a coffee maker in the room and complementary use of the in-room safe. The air condition in our room worked perfectly and the entire room was very clean. The hotel also offers beach chairs against a fee, beach towels for a deposit and bike rentals.

The water in the shower did not drain quickly and sometimes flooded the floor. And a suggestion: provide (cushion) pads for the beach chairs, as other hotels do along the coast.

The hotel is in front of the sea and close the the city centre. Room cleaning was good every day. Air conditioning was good. Small hotel mostly for couples which we liked. There was no child noise around us. People at the reception was always friendly and helpful. Before we leave the hotel, they even helped us getting good breakfast to go. They also give beach towel every day clean which is handy. We used bikes almost every day which was for free and it was fun. Breakfast was same but good. Coffee was good. We read that toilet is made with glass and not handy when one person using the toilet. They made a blackout curtain so it was not a problem for us.

Each time I took shower, there was water leakage outside of the shower. People at the reception was not always there when we needed. Even though we rang the bell, there was nobody around. Mostly you don't need them, but sometimes we needed to change beach towel and could not find them. Breakfast was good but we stayed 8 nights and it was the same breakfast every day. They could change small things for people who stays longer like us.

The rooms with the sea view and terrace have an amazing view. The design of the hotel's interior and exterior was awesome. Very clean rooms.

The breakfast included some vegan options and fresh fruit, however, it could have been more nutritious. There is avocado, cucumber and tomato. The veggies could have been seasoned a bit. The avocado could have become a well seasoned guacamole to be more flavorsome. There was joghurt and cornflakes, however for vegans this could be a granola without sugar and some soy joghurt. Fresh orange juice would have been better instead of the one that you buy in a supermarket. I've been eating in this restaurant in the evening and I can say that this food had an amazing quality and richness in flavours. The breakfast should keep up with the quality of the Mercato dining :)

With the most stunning views from the balcony and fabulous, modern facilities, the hotel is a total "Wow". Incredibly comfy bed, great shower, lots of lovely extra touches, such as cushions for the patio furniture and complimentary juices and water; everything you could possibly want has been thought of and provided. The hotel is towards the end of the seafront in a quiet area, within easy walking distance of loads of fabulous restaurants. The breakfast selection was superb served on a beautiful terrace.

The metal shelves(? book holders) above the bed - we both hit our head on them!

Ideal for couples or families with young kids. The clean was exceptional, and the staff was really nice. Also, as a vegetarian family, we loved the kids-friendly vegetarians options at the breakfast and the restaurant.

The first night we got noisy balcony neighbours, but we called to the reception number and they called their attention. Nothing to do with the hotel, but with these rude young people who basically didn't care.

Lovely room with a terrace balcony and remote controlled awning, overlooking the beach, bed was comfortable and an amazing shower. The room size was perfect with great wardrobe space and a lovely expresso machine. Breakfast was ok, the hot foods were tepid but the selection of cold meats and cheeses were good, coffee was made to order and was very tasty. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and the food was delicious and plentiful, the staff are genuinely lovely and seem to be really happy in their work. All in all a great little find and we will definitely be staying again.
