Good for an overnight stay or for a short stay to see Aranjuez. It is a 5 minute walk away from the Royal Palace and gardens. We were there on a very hot Monday in August, so we were pleased to have aircon in our room. However, as it was a Monday, most bars and restaurants were closed, so we found it difficult to find somewhere to have dinner.

Please note... there isn't a lift, so if you aren't very mobile, you might struggle getting your luggage upstairs. Our room was facing the road, so we could hear the traffic first thing.

Good location, within walking distance to the Royal Palace. The hotel room is big enough and the bed is comfortable. Pets are friendly. The water quality here is excellent, and it is very comfortable to take a bath and wash your hair.

There is no refrigerator or hair dryer in the hotel room. The included breakfast is not a buffet, but a set meal consisting of a cup of coffee, a glass of juice and a loaf of bread with a small amount of ham and ketchup.

We have stayed at the hotel several times and it has always been value for money , great location , clean , good facilities and an excellent breakfast.

In the past when we have booked a double room we have always had a front facing room , spacious plenty of light; unfortunately this time we were given a double room which was very cramped and had a window overlooking a wall, it was also very warm and stuffy and difficult to get any air circulating. The bed was smaller than the average double bed , probably due to the size of the room. That said I feel it was a lesson learnt when booking as we had thought all the double rooms were the same , we have since been advised that you need to be specific about any request for a room preference .

Hostal Real Aranjuez is located very close to the Royal Palace, everything is in easy reach, great bars and restaurants and public transport (Busses - taxis) are on your doorstep and the train station is around 20 minutes walk away, there's also a regular bus to the station. The accommodation is clean combatable and modern, staff are very friendly and helpful.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the facilities maintained cleanliness. It's worth noting that the breakfast is distinctly Spanish, which may seem modest to some—comprising a croissant, some juice, and coffee or tea. While it's neither extravagant nor disappointing, it's adequate. Taking everything into account, I would recommend it. The value received for the price paid is worthwhile.

I'm not sure if it was part of an energy-saving initiative, but upon our arrival, the room was warm and comfortable. However, there were times, especially in the mornings and late at night, when it felt somewhat cold.

Restaurant on site was nice, though we only had drinks and breakfast. Not too far from the Palacio Real.

It would be nice despite restaurant on site to be able to make a cup of tea in room. Only water bottle in machine in foyer. It took us a while to find the tourist train stop! Told receptionist that there was paper and hair over drain hole in shower on arrival. She asked us to report to a website.

Excellent location, lovely room with pleasing view, very comfy bed, good breakfast. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating, including helping us out with information and sorting out a request. It was also great to have an on-site café-bar area, which provided good food and drink at fair prices. We felt the Hostal was very tastefully decorated and arranged, making the stay very pleasant indeed. There was also on street parking available nearby and a train service to Madrid, helpful on both counts.

There wasn't really anything we did not like, but felt it would be helpful to have a spare blanket in the wardrobe, as we had to ask for one.

great hotel if you have a dog, central location and easy parking

zero view from the room - I think they give you this room because you have a dog so they don't think you want a view?! The aircon was dripping all night, the staff were quick to respond in the morning but as we only stayed one night it meant we didn't have the best sleep

Great location. Lovely breakfast included Clean and tidy.

On booking the hotel is pet friendly but just before we arrived I informed the hotel that I was bringing my dog. Pets are allowed but only up-to 10kg. My dog is 30kg. The hotel made an exception which was lovely.. Whether it’s booking or hotel pet friendly needs to be clear.

We really enjoyed our one night stay in this hotel, right in the centre of town close to the park and royal palace, plenty of bars and restaurants within a minutes walk, we booked a room with balcony, the room was spotless with a fantastic bathroom, coffee making facilities and free water in the fridge

The bed was a little bit hard but that is purely a personal view, we had a good nights sleep
