There were renovations going on within the hotel so if you wanted to rest during working hours it was noisy. My room had a balcony which had a lovely view of the church next door and the river. I enjoyed doing laundry and having the balcony to hang my clothes for drying. I was tired from my hike so I ate at the hotel’s restaurant. The staff was very attentive and the food was good. It was easy to pick up the Camino route from the hotel too.

View from room 107 across to the beautiful church directly across the road was a fairy tale picture. Family room was very spacious and clean. Air con worked, if only my wife let me turn it on, didn't try the restaurant but very happy we chose this hotel on our Camino

Nothing really, great spot

The staff were very welcoming, easy access to our room (key, quick elevator), and wonderful things to see and do nearby. The restaurant downstairs (food and service) were excellent.

A fan in the room would be nice for those very hot days. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay very much.

The fact that during check in i spent some time to explain details for the invoice and Ifinally did not recive the invoce via email as I've been told. I had to spent more time for another phone calls and sendings emails in orded to get my invoice - which finally has happened.

We enjoyed the atmosphere and the beautiful view from our window. The restaurant was excellent - with good food and great service. Overall, it was a great stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay walking the Camino.

Comfortable room with balcony and view over the river. It’s true that the noise from other rooms carries easily - but everyone goes to sleep early so no problem. (It was the noise of torrential rain on the roof which woke me) Friendly reception lady. Nice beer at the bar Close to the town centre

breakfast- Coffee was a bit on the weak side of my liking. Also, I didn’t realise that when I asked for refill it cost me extra money each time.

My room was large and had a very comfortable bed and a bathtub in the bathroom. The best thing was the amazing view over the church, river and hills. I loved the balcony! The restaurant downstairs was also great. The hotel was a short walk from the Camino and was the perfect stop.

Stayed here in 2023 hotel has undergone a total revamp since then. The air conditioning is a great addition - the restaurants also, and food and service was excellent

No shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom, although advertised

This hotel was located on the Camino route to Santiago de Compostela. The location was excellent for our walking journey. This hotel was very busy as several Camino walkers were staying there. The hotel provided very good service to the many pilgrims passing through.

Nice, well decorated and cosy hotel! The best view we had during our Portugal-Spain Camino trip. Truly stunning. Everything was perfect, clean, restaurant on the ground floor, shops near by..

It would be even better if there is a kettle and tea in the room
