We loved this hotel the minute we walked through the doors. It has so much character and there are loving details in every corner. Our room was fantastic - we were in room 13 on the 2nd floor with a nice big balcony. The breakfast was served according to our wishes and the pool area was a bonus in the warm temperatures. The bar service was also much appreciated. What made the hotel extra special though were it's staff. They all went above and beyond to assure our happiness, whether with a friendly welcome, detailed information on the sights in the area or an interesting conversation. Thanks to all of you for making our stay so special.

Lovely bedroom. Garden and pool areas were very nice and comfortable, with plenty of seating and shade availalble. Very helpful staff.

Ideally hotel could have done with offering meals in the evening, even if a limited choice. Having said that we enjoyed walking up the road and having a meal at the local cafe/bar. The hotel bar was open all afternoon, and again offering a choice (even if very limited) of snacks would have been a useful and much appreciated enhancement. No wifi was available for last 3 days while they were trying to fix a problem.

The whole place was lovely; wonderfully presented and interesting old building. Our room was clean and comfortable. The pool and garden area were lovely too.

We would have liked an evening meal option as there are limited restaurant options nearby and most were in the neighbouring village; unfortunately on the evening of our visit many were closed (Tuesday). Even a cold supper would have been good as the bar and outdoor dining area are very nice places to sit.

I loved everything about this beautiful place! We stayed here on the Camino and it was a wonderful splurge night while walking and staying in Alburgues and shared spaces. I booked massages for the evening while we were there and it was amazing. The breakfast was the best we had on the trip. The staff was wonderful and helpful. The property is just gorgeous from all the decorations to the pool area. I would love to stay here again.

Exceptionally Beautiful hotel, historically well preserved, very nice and helpful staff

No elevator to our section of hotel so we had to pay extra for bigger room on ground floor. Stairs were steep and circular to second floor in our section. No frigo bar. No air conditioning. Dim lights

Absolutely stunning hotel with exquisite attention to detail from furnishings to decor. The pool was cold but the perfect end to a day of walking on the Camino. The outside patio is a wonderful place to lounge. This is one of best hotels I’ve been to in Spain.

Beautiful, rustic and cosy. A lot of character and charm and felt intimate. Great location for getting around to visit wineries and even going off for a walk in the vines as it’s very close to the Camino de Santiago trail. Really helpful and friendly staff who totally made our stay pointing us in the direction of wineries and places to eat. We’ve done a road trip of northern Spain for a week and this was our favourite stay!

Grand old historic summer home. We did the wine cellar option and loved it. It was at a nearby winery was welcoming and has many nice local products for sale.

The top floor room was quite warm with only a fan for cooling. The bed was a bit too firm.

Spectacular building and decor. Every detail was thoughtful. Friendly staff and great breakfast. Comfortable beds and bathroom. The pool and garden was also lovely after a long day of walking. I only wish the hotel offered dinner!

Beautiful property and gorgeous garden and pool. Lovely bedroom and bathroom with extremely comfy bed and spa bath for tired Camino walkers!

Really disappointed that no food served at the hotel other than breakfast which only started serving too late for most Camino walkers.
