We loved staying at this beautiful, very well-run hotel as a two night rest while doing the Portuguese Coastal Camino. Even though we were quite scruffy and sweaty when we dragged into the lobby with our backpacks, they couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating. Breakfast was excellent, every member of the staff was very nice, and the views from the room were to die for - wow! We ate lunch and dinner in either the bar or on the terrace with an ocean view. We had excellent massages in the spa and spent an hour in the hydrotherapy pool, which is not to be missed! The beds were extremely comfortable and taking a bath in the tub was wonderful. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough - it’s excellent value and a nice treat during a grueling, long walk.

Nothing…we had a marvelous stay. Didn’t want to leave.

The room was excellent and the staff very helpful and friendly. it was easy to park at the hotel, and our room had a balcony overlooking the sea.

We were half-board. The breakfast was very good, but we were disappointed with the variable quality of the food for dinner. The main course had been re-heated, therefore the lamb was dry and the potatoes were not great. On the other hand, the bread rolls and Galician butter were excellent, as was the quality of the wine. We also had the impression that the swimming pool would be open, but it was not.

The hotel staff were all very nice and professional; from front desk to restaurant servers. Room was spacious with a great view of the ocean.

I stayed here for a rest day while walking the Camino Portuguese. When I booked the room at the hotel, which is located directly across the street from the ocean, I assumed I could just walk across the street from hotel to access beach, however, this is not possible. The closest accessible beach is not walking distance from the hotel; at least not walking distance for someone taking a rest day on the Camino. Also, crossing the street to get to hotel was probably one of the most treacherous things I did while walking the Camino. High speed traffic coming around blind bends had my heart racing! Also, used hotel laundry service and clothes came back damp.

Eventually arriving there after a long day on the Camino. Staff was friendly from reception to the thalasso to the bar. Special call out to Gonzalez, Alex and Harold. The thalasso was super, especially after having been on the road walking for the past few days.

The dinner was a bit of a letdown. Service young and rather inexperienced. There was a group at the next table listening to the news or whatever on their phone quite loudly, which was rude on their part, but at the same time, the service staff did not stop it. The lovely atmosphere was destroyed, other guests seemed annoyed as well. We decided to take our dessert on the terrace instead, and this turned out to be lovely. Food was ok, but beef was served raw rather than medium as ordered, so had to go back to the kitchen. Bowl was chipped as well. Would go for bar food next time, especially since dinner is only served from 9pm (maybe important to mention for pilgrims). Breakfast was good with friendly service.

A beautiful hotel just away from our route on the Camino. Excellent meal in the evening and a substantial breakfast. Lovely staff.

It was disappointing that the hotel charged and additional 18 Euro to be able to use the indoor pool, which was not advertised on the Booking.com web pages. The weather was awful, which meant we could not take advantage of any outdoor facilities.

This is the best kept secret on the Camino Portuguese coastal route! This place is an actual spa, just a few kilometers off of the Camino!!! It was an amazing place. It has an amazing indoor pool that is filled with sea water from the coast. The pool is heated and has about 10 different stations with amazing jets of water that focus on a different part of the body. This felt soooopo good on my Camino sore muscles. The food in the restaurant was also spectacular. It's a good idea to reserve time in the pool and the restaurant before you arrive. Both highly recommended. I left this place completely rejuvenated and ready to tackle the rest of my Camino.

Spectacular location, incredible views from the spa. The breakfast was great, all the staff were super kind and helpful. It’s a special place.

I had to switch rooms because the AC couldn’t cool the room. Not a good sign! It wasn’t even that hot outside. Due to allergies I couldn’t open the door to the balcony. Even with switching to a room with no view, it never got as cool as I wanted. The Spa should be open until sunset or even later, it closes at 21:00 sunset was at 22:15. The steam room wasn’t very hot, but overall it is a magical place and I 100% recommend it!

Beautiful hotel, helpful staff, fantastic views, quiet location yet near to Baiona by taxi. It was very hot coming off the Camino and I looked forward to the outdoor pool but unfortunately it was closed, I guess too early in the season. Although there were spa facilities, they were a bit expensive for Camino travellers on a budget. But no matter, we enjoyed a beer overlooking the stunning Galician coast which was very relaxing!
