Great view from room to sea. Food and wine was very tasty and good value fm. Near a good supermarket and cheap fuel. If yo have a car ideal for 2 or 3 day stop - trips north ,south and west. ( If you want to go east you have to brought the boat with you on a trailer ! or just go to the beach nearby )

The breakfast was so very good I very nearly needed a siesta ! We stayed at 5 other hotels -but Baladrar was the best breakfast ( you are lucky if get fresh melon and ham and warm bread and rolls at 4 star hotels these days - and table service muchos gracias -R)

A very warm welcome from the owner Rabi from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The room was lovely and clean, and had air con, and the views were stunning. Short walk away from the sea. We had a main meal there as well as the breakfast, which was all delicious, and Rabi accommodated our tastes by making things not on the menu for us. Nothing was too much trouble. It was a very special experience staying here for a couple of nights, and we thoroughly recommend it. The restaurant overlooks a panoramic view of the sea, with romantic music playing while you eat. We felt like a king 🤴& a queen 👸 Thank you Rabi. It was a pleasure to meet you.

Parking on a slope, but only because we were driving a hire car 😆 Otherwise, no complaints.

Perfect location, close to two great beach options. Robbie and his wife are amazing hosts. Beautiful views to wake up to of the sea and Ifac. Great recommendations of where to go and the food is outstanding!!! The daily dinner menu is an amazing value for only €19. Even if you aren’t staying here you should go to the restaurant. And the views from the terrace restaurant are gorgeous unobstructed views of the sea and Ifac!

We wanted to walk the coastal path from Calpe and looked for a suitable hotel at the end of our planned route. Hotel Baladrar was perfectly placed. Having grown used to the homogenised offerings of larger hotel chains, we were pleasantly surprised by the genuinely warm and bespoke hospitality offered by everyone at Hotel Baladrar. As a party of four people (all vegetarian) we had dinner and relied upon the creative genius within the kitchen to provide for us. This policy worked very well, and a decent meal with copious wine was had by all. The terrace is great, with views across the sea to El Peñón de Ifach. Clean rooms, great service, amazing views, good value – what more could anyone ask for? We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Recommended.

The owner of the hotel and restaurant is absolutely lovely. He is very customer focused, cheerful and welcoming. The continental breakfast was tasty and the view from the terrace at breakfast absolutely stunning. The wifi is excellent

We couldn't use the TV but it wasn't a problem as we had our phones, so we accessed many of our UK stations and netflix via that.

We liked the older typical Spanish style of the property, like being in a time warp. Comfortable bed, en-suite shower room, mini fridge in room. Excellent knowledgeable friendly proprietor (Rabi) who also speaks perfect English. Lovely breakfast of scrambled eggs, toast, croissant, jams, cheese and cold meat, juice, tea or coffee. Bars, restaurants and beach in walking distance.

Things that would be useful in room:- 2 Glasses, bathmat, hand soap. Tricky to walk along the road as there are no pavements like on many Spanish country roads.

It was a unique experience and a lovely start to our holiday. The owner was great, and we felt like family visiting. The restaurant was lovely on a terrace with a great view and with great food.

Ideal for our one night stay visiting friends who could not accommodate us, good room with great view over bay, with very good breakfast next morning served by very friendly and helpful owner, this is also a restaurant, however was not able to participate in the evening dining

Breakfast offered was good, very nice hotel environment and restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. The view is breathtaking and very relaxing to wake up to.

Small minus for us (Room 4), was that the bathroom drain had a smelly problem. We tried to cover it with a towel and placing things on top to block it. Hence a lowered rating on "Comfort".

We stayed 6 days at Hotel Baladrar, situated just some hundreds meters from the beach with crystalline water. A better accommodation and place to stay is difficult to find. Our room has a wonderful view to the sea and was very clean and spacious. But the best part of the hotel are the terrace with the view to the peninsula Ifach and its welcoming hosts Rabi and Kim. The breakfast and dinner they served every day were just special. The food was from outstanding quality and presented in a refined way. The cuisine was various with french and Algerian influences. All was accompanied by Rabi's interesting stories and relaxing music selection. Thank you again for the unforgettable holiday.
