You need to have a car to reach the beach. That would be the only negative. But the pool was great so.. didn't matter, really.

Not the hidden pearl I expected! The view is great BUT the maintenance is below standard! The ceramic tools of the pool are not complete. The red paint (balcony of guest rooms, first floor) is coming off. The outdoor staircase leading to the guest rooms has broken parts. Then: plastic kid toys in loud colours do lie around all day long and all over the place not providing the atmosphere you might expect - and on top, the swimming pool is gated. While the latter is understandable since the hostesses do have a baby it is surely not an elegant view and this is what I thought I would get for the money paid. The green beds are framed with concrete painted in a shrill waterresistent white that reminds me the practical and cheap public pool edgings of my childhood. Definitely not a charming B & B. The door of my room was so low that I first bumped my head going out (and I am average sized) - so the pictures on booking do lie. Given that the house is so old I presume that the hostesses want to renovate it "step by step" (like the outdoor staircase etc.) - but the price they charge is as if the whole place was already 5 star level renovated and this is definitely not yet the case. Finally I felt irritated that they forbid you to cool your own drinks in the fridge downstairs (the place is really remote - no bar or restaurant around) so that you have to buy the drinks at the house at their overrated tarifs. You might ask for an exception though - in my case they complied for 1 night and 1 bottle of wine. All in all and in spite of the great breakfast I am sorry but I cannot recommend it. I felt that I had paid way too much for this.

The house sits on a superb location with great views. You can enjoy these views even at night, when you can see the stars and the reflection of the Moon on the wide view of the Mediterranean. There is a lot of attention to detail both in the room and in the house in general. We really enjoyed sleeping for the first time in a bed with linen sheets. The breakfast was delicious and full of different options.

For some reason I assumed that we would get one of the big rooms with sea views. After months of looking forward to staying in that kind of room it was quite disappointing to find out we were getting the small room which is on the side of the road and gets the noise of cars passing from time to time. Delphine and Manou were understanding and open to changing the room, but it was not possible as the ones with views were already occupied. I have a good share of the mistake, as I didn't carefully read everything and make sure that the room we were getting was the same one as the one used for the main photo of the accommodation. Still, I think that the booking page of the house could do a better job to explain in a more explicit way, which are the types of rooms available. Also, there is an outside kitchen and barbecue which was nice, but it felt like it could receive more love. This kitchen was lacking most basic utensils to cook or wash anything.
