Nestled amidst stunning landscapes ideal for outdoor pursuits, Finca La Mixtura is indeed a delightful blend of relaxation, style, and a touch of escapade. The meticulously restored manor house exudes understated elegance, with individually themed suites offering lavish comfort and an air of true luxury (at a remarkably reasonable price, it must be noted). The owners, a couple who clearly pour their passion into this project, warmly welcome guests with genuine hospitality, never intruding on their experience. However, it's the culinary journey here that truly steals the spotlight. The combination of the region's finest ingredients with such sophistication can only stem from a history of (starred?) experience and a mature concept of simple excellence. Paired with an impeccably curated and well-explained selection of regional wines, the gourmet dinner experience proved to be exquisite and warrants many return visits.

The hotel was very nice and has a great atmosphere. Especially Mark and Inge are great hosts that make you feel welcome and ensure you have a very nice stay. Do not forget to have a dinner which offers great food. As well the breakfast is very great and a good start of the day.

Mark and Inge have created such a special place here. We stayed there for the second time, and it was another absolutely amazing experience. The rooms are absolutely stunning, with a very comfortable bed and amazing shower. If you have the chance to eat at their restaurant, you won't be disappointed. Inge prepares the most amazing food with out of this world flavours. Every dish is especially handcrafted, with local ingredients wherever possible and totally amazing. This time, we stayed during a rather cold spell, but the whole castle was warm and cozy, and so was our room. Thanks, Inge and Mark, for yet another unforgettable experience. We will definitely be back.

There was nothing to dislike

David and Inge are exceptional hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms and decor of the whole building are amazing, David showed us around the main suites, they are all unique and individually designed/decorated to an exceptionally high standard. Inge prepares and cooks every item of food served from locally sourced ingredients. It is a set menu, 4 or 5 courses and her passion for food/cooking truly shines through. She is worthy of a Michelin Star rating.

Beautifully furnished and detailed Finca La Mixtura is delightful. Lovely spacious grounds and an inviting pool it is a very calming and restful place to be. Mark and Inge make you very welcome and even gave us a lift into town for dinner as their restaurant is closed Sunday evening. Breakfast is certainly a highlight, simply superb.

This is an incredible place to stay. The property is magnificent, the food is outstanding, and the owners are warm, friendly and very helpful. If you enjoy good food then you must have both the breakfast and dinner, all home cooked and often using ingredients from their own gardens. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and toured the local area, with good advice on where to go from the owners. A wonderful relaxing break.

Everything! This is a gem, a luxurious boutique hotel with a restaurant. The room was spacious with an enormous wonderful bath. The beds very comfortable. The owners have restored this unique building to it fullest potential. Simply impressive. By the way, a large pool area i unfortunately did not have time visit. The breakfast was generous. I am sad I did not have time to stay longer. Would love to come back. Ample space for parking on the property

This newly refurbished Finca has a perfect blend of original character features with contemporary facilities set in a peaceful location with panoramic views. The hosts, Mark and Inge were really friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We chose to take advantage of their restaurant in the evening, which turned out to be an exceptional à la carte 5 course meal. Breakfast in the morning was equally superb.
