The hotel is very well placed, a short walk from shops and squares. The staff were very helpful and attentive,especially Marianna in the restaurant. The pool is very welcoming. It's not huge but big enough for a cooling dip and some short lengths. There are changing facilities and toilets and towels provided by the hotel. We ate in the hotel as it was festival time so the town was preparing for the festivities. The hotel offers a set menu,but choice is limited. We opted for a selection of small plates,which were delicious and good value. We also had breakfast, which was the usual fare of fruit,cold meats, and bacon and scrambled eggs,certainly enough choice to not go hungry.

Not so much a "didn't like" but parking in the hotel car park is 8 euros. There is plenty of on street parking, and the road is one way.

The staff were fantastic. My wife had a fall and had to miss breakfast. The staff offered to bring breakfast up to our room, with no prompting from us. The receptionist was exceptional, kind, pleasant, well-informed and with superb English. She answered all our queries kindly, patiently and without hesitation. The property is beautiful and, despite its central location is wonderfully quiet. The breakfasts were exceptional - a huge choice of quality food, much of it local. The room was comfortable and easily accessible via slopes and lifts. The beds were comfortable and we slept well.

A chair would have been useful and helpful. The lighting over the mirror and by the wardrobe in the bedroom was poor. The television was badly placed in front of the mirror, obscuring the lower third of it, and would be better hung on the wall where there was plenty of room for it.

The hotel is beautiful, built in an Arab architectural style. The staff are very helpful and efficient. The evening meal we had at the hotel from the Al La Carte menu was excellent and along with the wine was very reasonably priced. Good secure parking on site. More could be made of the history of the hotel - originally a home, why was it built in that style should be explained and the fact that King Carlos and Queen Sophia stayed there.(there's a plaque commemorating the stay on the front door pillar) I recommend this hotel to anyone and suggest you stay for dinner.

The location was OK. Parking in the hotel was a bonus even at 10 euro per day. The meals in the restaurant were good with a good selection on the menu.

The facilities in the hotel were poor for a 4-star hotel. The bar didn't open until 7 p.m. and it didn't have any suitable lounge area to socialise during the day or after your evening meal. The bedroom whilst clean was lacking, no chair/sofa.

Restaurant was good but the service let it down only one lady and she kept forgetting thing ie food be drinks 🍷 and not all the food came at same time Was six people two guest live near your hotel and had recommended it and it was same it was not great No problem with food

The hotel is an interesting and attractive building and our room was very comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice and hot options cooked on request. We only had dinner once but this was also very good quality. The staff were friendly and helpful.

This beautiful hotel has excellent staff, large comfortable bedrooms, and an excellent breakfast.

There was a surprising amount of outside noise that penetrated into the room and it was a quiet Sunday night Noise of mopeds, motorbikes and even noisy people on the street carried clear into the room through closed windows. This was the only drawback to an otherwise very nice hotel

The Hotel is an amazing building stands out from all those around. We even had a little courtyard as it was a basement room which was very large. Parking was a large secure area. We had nice meal in restaurant. Breakfast adequate Bed and bedding good and very comfortable.

Parking was couple euros more than advertised. Breakfast was ok due to it being spread across the bar and areas across the walkway we missed several things we could and would have had. The amount on offer made you feel you couldn't take more. The menu in restaurant was very limited so we only ate in there once.

We detored on our trip to Southern Spain and found this hotel by chance a little off the beaten track. What a delight large room and a romantic dinner for two that we had been denied the night before. Brits tend to eat earlier than Spanish so we had wonderful service a bottle of a 4 year old crianza and an amazing meal just by ourselves. If I had wanted to propose it would have been an ideal location. Later that evening the Spanish arrived for what could have been an engagement party outside with dinner after.Of course lots of fun but we did not hear a squeek thanks to our lovely large room. Breakfast made the 4star Hotel we stayed at the night before look average even though I did give it a rave review. So if you would like a detour on your way to the South and have a few quid to spash out you won't find better and the old town is amazing

Not being invited to the Spanish party outside but I was fast asleep so did not miss anything.

Space, location, staff.

Restaurant service was a bit haphazard. This may have been due to the language barrier. There was confusion due to us ordering two set meals. Bed sank in the middle, causing us to roll together, which was not a major thing and was still comfortable.
