Almost everything: the cleaness, the shower, the size of the room, the small decoration details. When I had a problem with the coffee machine, it was fixed straight away.

The cleaning lady didn't change my towels the first day when I indicated that I wanted my room to be cleaned. (But the other days she did 😊)

Great tiny village, stunning scenery. Lovely little hotel & Cesear was very helpful and accommodating, even meeting us at our car!

Our room was in the eaves, with small windows and 2 large skylights. It would have been better to have had bigger windows to see outside properly.

Amazing experience to stay in an authentic medieval castle built in 14 century. Right in the middle of beautiful village plenty of restaurants and cafes . The room was perfect ! The bed is cosy, everything is with the touch of good taste .

Great place. Exceptionally restored, keeping the essence of 15th century walls with all modern comfort. The host was kind and attentive, making everything easy for us. Ideal place to visit small Buitrago and well communicated to explore Madrid’s mountains

Wonderful hotel with character. Very comfortable and clean beautifully furnished in keeping with setting. Parking very close by. We were sent directions to car park and also met by our host. Fabulous service.

The owner and his son were very prompt in answering any questions and meeting us to hand over the keys. The room and communal areas were spotless and the music was beautiful and relaxing.

In the heart of the town, tucked away in a quiet corner and literally in the medieval walls. Parking in the plaza is close by, Aida asked us to call her when we got to the parking and she appeared almost immediately. Very comfortable, spacious and well-equipped rooms. The artwork on the walls transformed a very traditionally furnished room into something stylish. Excellent hi-tech shower. Added bonus was discovering the delightful museum in Buitrago, full of artworks given by Picasso to his friend and barber over many years.

Excellent Hotel in an historic setting . Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Efficient underfloor heating was a bonus. Very tastefully decorated.

The room was absolutely beautiful. Loved the little seat by the window and bed was extra comfortable. The bathroom was clean and beautiful. Loved all the small details. And the location in general was exceptional.
