The location was superb for views of, and access to the mountains. The start of the GR222 path to Lluc is literally 5 mins up the road. Caimari is a quaint village and had all the services we needed. We bussed in and out from the stop at the bottom of the village. Very convenient.

Hmm. Our room was in the loft space, and the low ceilings led to one or two banged heads on the concrete beams when getting out of bed. Video cameras followed your movements as you moved around the property. I understand that this is for the owner's security, as the property is unmanned, but it did feel unsettling.

Very nice and clean place to stay. The rooms are rather small and narrow but lovely. The whole house is very clean and the interior is really beautiful. We stayed on the top floor and the temperature was very high during our stay, however thankfully it cools down a little bit more during the night in this area than in other parts of the island. Using the two ventilators we managed to sleep quite well with the window opened. There is a very nice garden to sit outside. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

We didn’t like the usage of cameras in the common areas. It would also be nice if its possible to stay a bit longer outside in the evenings in the garden or the common areas, especially to cool down a bit.

The location is stunning, especially if you prefer somewhere quiet at the end of the day to rest your head. The locals were friendly and helpful as was our host.

Previous reviews indicated that there would be a pre-packed breakfast, but this was not the case. I enquired about this in advance, but received no answer. Due to no fault of our host there was no hot water for the first half of our stay due to there having been some storms. We informed the host who promptly arranged for a plumber. However, as is often the case, he did not attend until a few days later as we arrived just before the weekend. It was a little tricky to wash off all the sun cream with cold water and shower gel. All was well in the end, but still, we were somewhat disappointed.

Right at the footsteps of Tramuntana mountains, a dream for hikers and cyclists. Great hospitality, fantastic friendly owners. The room was cosy, if only a little small (or I am just too large?). A lot of mountain trails and some of the most famous climbs start right at the door.

The front room is quite noisy late in the night.

Clean and cozy. The host responds to the needs of the guests (intolerances/diets at breakfast) and the host is interested in good communication and gives good tips and recommendations for activities

The accommodation describes itself as ecological. At breakfast there was a relatively large amount of packaging waste. This is probably due to the fact that they also offer breakfast as take away. Nevertheless, straws and plastic packaging will no longer have to be in 2023

Rosa was very friendly and recommended lots of activities around Caimari. The room was comfortable and clean. We loved the outside patio and varying breakfast! We wouldhighly recommend Casa Caimari and its quiet and cozy atmosphere!

The parking situation is a bit tricky at first, but once you find the free parking at the church, you only have to walk around 5min.

Our room was nice but very hot, it could use some air conditioning or better fans. All the rest was awesome :)

Rosie was super nice and helpful. The vegan/vegetarian breakfast was made with love and great to start the day in the really nice garden. Casa Caimari is perfect for hikers who are looking for a quiet, clean place to stay while exploring the island.

The individual coffeemakers in the rooms cause a lot of plastic waste.

We had a wonderful stay in Casa Caimari at the start of February. Rosi is an excellent host and gave us lots of recommendations for places to visit. The room was lovely and cosy. The breakfast box each morning was great and set us up well for busy days cycling. The location is beautiful and we were in the mountains as soon as we started our cycles.

It is a lovely place among the mountains, and the host is super friendly!

We loved it, but I want to set the expectations right for those who will decide on staying there: 1. the check-in process is a bit complicated (had to install an app to go through online self-service check-in and when arrived we still needed to message the host to get the access code to the room itself - this was not clear, as I thought the whole process was automated) 2. there is a curtain (not a door) that separates the private bathroom from the room 3. it might be a bit challenging to find parking spot around, but we were lucky None of the above caused problems to us
