We had a wonderful stay at this cozy hotel! The whole territory is lush and green, full of trees and flowers — a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. The pool has an amazing view of the mountains, which made every swim extra special. The motel itself feels very homey and welcoming, like visiting a friend's countryside house. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, with fresh and tasty options every morning. It’s also a great base for exploring — you can reach any beach in the area within 30 minutes by car. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, comfort, and a beautiful natural setting!

We had an amazing stay at Can Cota, can't recommend the hotel enough. It was really easy to get there from the airport in Palma (a 40-minute drive mostly on the motorway). When we arrived, the host welcomed us and showed us around the property — I still remember the view the first time I saw the view, it was breathtaking. Our deluxe room also had it and it was amazing to see it every morning. The room itself was very spacious, with a huge and comfy 1.80m bed. The hotel also offered a lovely breakfast that you could enjoy in the garden, and you could get freshly prepared eggs or bacon. We visited in March so it was great to be able to use the sauna and the two (cold) pools afterwards. The hotel itself was located in the centre of Old Selva and was close to a two really good restaurants — Miceli and Selvatge, but the other food places were also quite nice. We didn't need to look for a shop nearby because there was a honesty bar for drinks and snacks in the hotel. Lastly, the garden was amazing. It was a true pleasure to spend time in nature with such a beautiful view. We only wonder how nice it would've been if the weather was a bit warmer.

It's not that we didn't like something, more of a word of caution — Selva is a beautiful old town with narrow streets — we rented a Fiat 500 and recommend you don't go much larger than that if you want to easily drive and park around the hotel. Also, have in mind the sauna is booked for a private 1-hour session at the cost of €15 (I'd say totally worth it, as you can observe the whole valley from there).

We had a lovely room (#1) in Can Cota, with Spa Bath. The room was very spacious, comfortable, with fabulous views. Staff all first-rate. Breakfast really good quality, and great value. The building has been superbly developed inside and out, overall a lovely place to stay.

1. Our bathroom window was level with the road, and it's disconcerting to have children outside ( at school time) when using the loo. etc. Didn't feel sufficiently private. 2. Another minor gripe was TV. Couldn't 'cast' or use Apps (Netflix, etc). Not normally an issue for us. but it rained A LOT on our stay. 3. Parking is very limited near the hotel.

Great location, rooms were spacious and loved our little outdoor balcony. The little help yourself snack and drinks cave was a lovely touch too. Loved the sauna and the pool was freezing so it was fun going between the two!

It would have been nice to have had a fan, I found the air-con didn’t really work but at the time we went it wasn’t too much of a problem but we did sleep with the windows open and we did get bitten quite a bit. I found the decor of the hotel in the reception a little dated it was giving more of a Hostel feel rather than a hotel when I first walked in but the room was great and I enjoyed the facilities and view every morning.

We were upgraded and the room therefore larger than what we booked. But the hotel itself is what makes the differene. Located in Selva within walking distance to the town plaza. Great restaurants in the lively little town and a good starting point for hikes and cycling. The pool is lovely with beautiful views of the plain beneath. Breakfast is the best we have had here in Mallorca. This is a place we will return to.

Parking can be difficult..but at least you get to know all the small streets in town and practise your parking skills :-)

Toni and his team were superb. This was the second time in 14 months we had stayed and we had a wonderful stay. The team were helpful, welcoming and made us feel at home yet again. The breakfasts are superb, and the kitchen staff do excellent 'huevos revueltos y bacon'. I was shown where to use laundry services which were useful as we stayed quite a number of days, and we were also given advice with activities to do on rainy days which Toni was superb with. We would not stay anywhere else in Mallorca and we cannot wait to stay again.

Ambiance is top, infinity pool overlooking the valley with 180° views, room with patio very cute and spacious. Everything is of high standard. Breakfast also very wholesome. Honesty pantry is an excellent idea because apart from selling drinks of all kinds including extensive wine cellar and snacks you can also make free use of water dispenser, ice machine and a variety of glasses, bottle openers etc to enjoy by the pool. Also prices are just slightly higher than a normal shop so people don't hesitate to buy.

Garden is a bit over run in some places, like broken pots & so. Maybe abit more flowers plants will make the atmosphere abit more awesome.

Communication was great because I arrived late. Sauna was a lovely welcome for my tired legs! Very peaceful surroundings, easily parked in the car park opposite. Beautiful Pool and sunrise! I was able to yoga with the sunrise which was beautiful. Breakfast AMAZING.. best eggs ever! The lady even made me porridge :) Bed comfortable and room very clean and spacious. Love the fact there is a hot drinks machine 24h and also the snack room / wine cellar was cute!

There were a few noises in the room that kept waking me up.. I think it was the de-humidifiers or some small machines in there.. also I think there might have been a creature on the roof (cannot be helped I know!)... If I had stayed more than one night I would have asked about the machines to be turned off as it did interrupt my sleep a bit.. they are not super loud but I don't like the idea of lots of electricity around me while I sleep that's all and I'm quite sensitive to it :). Beautiful hotel though and I would definitely return - thank you!

The view from the pool area was absolutely beautiful. Really enjoyed having a little patio connected to our room. The honesty bar was such a neat concept and made getting a drink or snack super easy. The room was spacious and clean and the breakfast in the morning was great! Eggs cooked to order if you wish and lots of options to choose from. Great terrace to have your breakfast on in the morning. It was one of our favorite hotels on our trip and will be staying here next time we visit Mallorca!

The town is quiet but we enjoyed that. Great stay!

Can cota is an excellent choice if you want to explore the Serra de tramuntana and relax/enjoy your stay with tasty breakfast. The rooms are cozy and you’ve got a spa (pool, sauna and wellness) and a nice pool area with a beautiful view of selva. There are parking spaces around the corner but don’t get a big rental car ;)
