This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Hotels are always stuffy, hot, cold or noisy. There are always some problems. I didn't find any problems at Puerto de Candás :) The room was very quiet, spacious and had a great view of the sea. The temperature was perfect, all the amenities worked correctly. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and speak English. The rooms are very clean (although need some renovation). The huge hydromassage bath will definitely make me come back! :)

The hotel is very clean, but quite old and worn out. The window in my room could not be closed, the plumbing was cracked and chipped. However, these problems were not critical.

A pleasant little hotel, situated just metres from the port of this small, coastal town. Park outside to drop off your luggage and a free public car park in the port area, made life very easy. Critical for us, the wifi was fast and reliable. The water pressure, from the shower, proved a shock to the system - Niagara falls sprung to mind! The room was spotless, the staff extremely friendly and helpful speaking perfect English if you’re nervous about small hotels off the beaten track. Possibly the only criticism would be the limited breakfast options. If money is tight and you have a good appetite, I'd recommend booking room only and having breakfast at any one of the several cafes on the doorstep. Whilst the hotel doesn't have a restaurant there are plenty within walking distance. I have to add though that the hotel's freshly squeezed orange juice was extra, extra special. If we return to Candas this will be our first choice for accommodation.

It's a small hotel so the breakfast area is tiny. If you enjoy a hearty breakfast and are on a tight budget, maybe book room only and use one of the many bar/cafes on the doorstep.

We are from the US and don’t speak a lot of Spanish. Diego at the front desk was phenomenal!! Extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating and worked hard to speak to us in English!! He made our experience exceptional!! And breakfast was great!! More than we expected with a wonderful variety of items to choose from. We would definitely recommend your hotel to other travelers!

Lovely little hotel in a great location. Quiet area but short walk to bars and restaurants. Hosts were very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. The buffet breakfast was not available as there were too few guests staying but the team prepared cooked breakfasts for us, which was lovely. Our room was a good size, clean and comfortable. The water temperature & pressure in the shower were amazing especially after a long day on our motorbike. Would definitely recommend and stay in this hotel again.

A property that was easy to find and overlooking the harbour. Our room was spotless and the bed extremely comfortable. Our host explained where we could eat and what was around in the town. The fish restaurant situated 30 metres away had an excellent selection of fish. Well worth the visit and the breakfast in the morning was very good.

Very dog friendly hotel, well used by locals for breakfast and coffees. The staff were so friendly and our room was perfect with views over the port. We dropped our bags at the hotel and had free parking a short walk away. Easy to find places to walk the dog. A choice of bars and restaurants near by.

We went during the low season in March. The hotel wasn't full so the manager gave us a complimentary room upgrade with harbour view. Easy to park and unload bag outside door before parking free 200m away. Breakfast nice too.

Clean, wonderful helpful staff, great location for exploring town.

No screens in the windows so there were mosquitoes in the room. Rooms facing the sea also face the road, so there is some traffic noise.

Wonderful staff! Very friendly and professional. Diego welcomed us and our little dog warmly. The room was lovely with a particularly comfortable bed. Great breakfast in the sunshine. Highly recommend this hotel. It's in a perfect location by the harbour and promenade, close to all amenities.

A lovely hotel in a central location. We had a room with a beautiful sea view. Public parking nearby was very convenient, the breakfast was tasty, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming.
