The hostel is located right in the centre of Castell de Fero right on the seafront. The hostel and room are immaculately clean. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms although basic are fine and we found the beds comfortable. Breakfast was served downstairs in the attached restaurant and was fine tostada orange juice and coffee. The restaurant like the hostel is good the food is good with large portions and again all staff were friendly. We were very happy with our stay. Yes as previous comments theirs no lift and quite lot of stairs depending on which floor your room is on. That said the hostel do say that this is the case.

Nothing really to dislike be aware at busy times you may have to park some distance from the hostel although there is plenty of parking on the sea front it can get busy. That said there is plenty of parking in the area.

The hotel was excellent, spotless and comfortable. The service was first class from the lady who runs the place. We had a special request and she called the day before to ensure we could be accommodated. Absolutely fantastic and a real credit to the hotel.

The hotel restaurant belove the hotel. We thought we would eat here to give a little back as the hotel had been so accommodating. Unfortunately the food was sub standard and cold, the one guy there who was barman, waiter and with deserts chef, was quite simply awful. Impatient and forgetful. When it came to the bill you could quite obviously see the prices had gone up fro what was printed on the menu and items added that were not received! When I confronted him about this he got very angry, probably as he had been caught out. Paid the bill and left. DO NOT EAT AT THE HOTEL RESTAURANT, YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF WITH POOR FOOD AND SERVICE.

This little hotel is in such a perfect location right on edge of the beach in a quaint little town square. Nice balconies with a view, the cafe below has all the food you need. Warm welcome and they told me the safe place to hide away my motorbike. Rooms are basic but really clean and comfy with aircon. Price is incredible for this setting and the little village is beautiful along the seafront boardwalk.

The location was perfect. The sea view was calming and spectacular.

No WiFi. Plus having to pay for our little dogs. Mainly because we've stayed at many hotels booked through booking.com and never had to pay before. They are well behaved, house trained and do not shed hair.

The location is close to the bus stop and front line to the beach. Very close to local restaurants and to the yoga retreat that I was jouning. It was very clean, great value and I enjoyed the simple breakfast that was included.

Room was clean with good bathroom daily cleaning offered -TV with main channels- good location and restaurant with bus outside door-2euros 51 cents to motril.

Good location. Room was simple, maybe a bit old but had everything i needed. There were some noises from the kitchen in the evening but the night was quiet. Perfect for a short stay.

Fantastic place, central location right on the plaza and overlooking the sea. Lovely restaurants and cafes around, a perfect spot.

very clean room in perfect location, great value and good AC, properties advertisement is detailed, so we knew exactly what we had paid for. It seems some other guests felt there were some secret amenities that would be revealed on arrival!!!! and if not they have scored down!!
