Comfortable and clean, amazing views and good location with access to coast, roads, train and airport

A very beautiful view from the room, a refreshing pool for hot weather, and free parking. At first, we were given a room with no workspace and a poorly working air conditioner, but then we asked to change the room, and everything was fine. The hotel is quite old, but the room was clean, and the bed linen and towels were excellent.

Breakfasts are not for those who enjoy a hearty morning meal - the selection is very limited and mostly consists of sweets. The poolside restaurant menu mostly consists of snacks and sandwiches. We had to go to another restaurant for dinner. Check your bill carefully - the waiters tend to add items we didn’t order, especially drinks.

First of all, the hotel was amazing, it seemed like I was living 200-300 years ago (But much cleaner). The rooms were looking amazing, really old style and vintage. The tower in the courtyard was wonderful and the view also!!! You could easily see Barcelona from the garden. There was also an exterior pool which contributed to the view. The room was cleaned every day, it was warm and also the room was very big and spacious! You can easily go to Barcelona via Train (R2) or bus, but you have to go on foot around 15-20 minutes to the bus station near the beach (Estació Platja de Castelldefels), and take Bus L94 to Barcelona Center. You have connections every 30 minutes to go wherever you want. You have a restaurant in the hotel (I didn't eat there), but on the beach you have many many restaurants you can choose, with VERY good prices and really tasty food. The minibar have good prices for beer (san miguel 2.90 euro), which is okay, because if you get it at a restaurant is around 3 euro. OVERALL I REALLY RECCOMEND THIS HOTEL AND I WILL COME BACK HERE FOR SURE TO TRY THE INTERIOR POOL AND THE GYM (They were in maintanance these days). ALSO the staff was extremely nice and helping every time. It matters because they speak english!!

Large room with comfortable bed. Very large and nice bathroom. Huge wardrobe with mirrors. Clean. Responsive staff.

Not a complain really, but lately I'm used to have a possibility to make a coffe in the room or to have a coffe machine in reception area, but in this hotel it's only available during the breakfast, and it starts from 7:00 a.m., and it's a little late, if you have to get up at 5:00a.m.. At the breakfast, the warm food had gone cold from the start. Location is very nice, but plan an extra time if you have to be in Barcelona city center (30min. by taxi, 1 hour by public transport). Hairdryer was barely functioning....

We had a room with an incredibly beautiful view of the city and the sea, and it was very comfortable. The hotel has a very friendly staff who were helpful with all our questions. The breakfasts at the hotel are delicious. The beach and the train station are a 15-minute walk away.

The hotel's location requires several trips up the mountain throughout the day, but it becomes easier with time. For those with a driver's license, it's not a problem at all.

We spent 2 nights in a beautiful building and location. We were so captivated by the beauty of the garden and the view that we spent half of our first day there relaxing, even though we had other plans. The waiter's service in the bar was impeccable. The staff is polite and kind.

The only thing is that the soundproofing of the rooms is not good, but we only had a problem with the noise from the garden and the neighboring rooms on the first night, we were still able to sleep from midnight to 7 in the morning.

The front desk staff were extremely polite, professional and helpful. Outdoor pool area is great but it closes too early in the day. 7pm is unreasonable when it is still 34 degrees out! Indoor spa area is also nice but it closes too early too at 8pm.

I paid extra for a balcony view when the view was unremarkable. A view over the pool area would have actually been more to my expectations and it was not extra. The location close to the airport is ideal for a rental car return the next day. However, it is not really walkable to the beach as you need to cross 7 lanes of traffic, and the return trip is a steep uphill even if you are fit.

The staff was very friendly and helpfull but the place itself, the vibe... the tower with pool in front, hacienda with huge fireplace, bar and the view from the property... i mean i would expect large celebrities to stay in such place while visitting Barca. It was wonderfull, thank you so much.

Bartender does not make many cocktails but good old dry martini was enough) Also the fitness was closed during our stay but it was prolly due to some renovations or something

The room was spacious and luxe, wrapped in an old school way. Bed was great big and comfortable. Shower was nr 1. Used the indoor swimmingpool and sauna .... recommended to do so it was amazing. The people at the desk are so polite and lovely ready to help in any kind of way. Thnx so much for this experience.

There was a line at the check-in desk. A group checked in. Maybe its better to open one desk for the actual group to check in and the second one for other customers Who are not in that group. That's the only thing to mention without downgrading anything I said about the service and helpfull staff. Thnx again..

High on the great Hill overlooking Castelldefels , a wonderful old style classic Spanish hotel incorporating a business centre etc in separate building with all modern needs . Hotel rooms quiet , fully equipped, great smiling staff . Outside ,a Great Pool / relaxing area at the foot of a 16th century stone Tower with grassy surrounds , shade where necessary and great poolside bar / restaurant with great service . Stayed here many time so knew exactly what i was getting . Great way to relax !!
