This was a great choice and a lovely village but very steep with many stairs. The Spanish version of Doc Martin was filmed here.

I had a great deal of dificulty actually finding this hotel, the SatNav just couldn't cope. I did eventually find the car entrance and the tiny undeground car park at this location What Three Words ///mopeds.goatees.hires

Garage parking available. Room 202 was super spacious as was the bathroom, and the sea view was superb. Very friendly staff. Spanish version of Doc Martin was filmed in the village. You need to be fit to walk to the harbour from the hotel

Nothing not to like Do be aware not to attempt to drive down the cobbled street as per Sat nav instruction!

The self service breakfast was very good, plenty of choices both English and continental hot and cold drinks a plenty. Meal could be taken inside in the dining room or outside on the terraces

The furnishings were a bit basic and not very comfortable. It was noisy at night being on a town street above a restaurant. The main problem was finding the hotel. Beware - google maps took us down a route which ended up in a very narrow town street which was a dead end and not possible to turn around in. If going by car, approach from the top of town, not the bottom !

View from room was great. Great value for money. Terrace restaurant with a sea view was good. Location at top of village is a delight. Staff and owner were very attentive. Above and beyond. Recommended.

Nothing really. The rooms are fine, but not luxurious. But for the price they are more than acceptable.

Beautiful old building with amazing view from terrace. Very friendly and helpful staff. Spacious rooms.

The rooms would be even more comfortable if each side of the bed had its own reading light.

Amazing views from room over bay. Not suitable for those with mobility problems unless content to sit and look at view. Some concerns over inability to close fully bathroom door but all forgiven because of location and friendliness of staff and owner. Menu uses local dishes and ingredients. Breakfast great.

Garage is very tight but is what it is - essential to book space. Might not suit large cars or SUV.

My room had a stunning of the coast and mountains. Owner Miguel and his staff were kind and helpful. The lovely old building has been tastefully modernised and is very well-kept. My room was spotlessly clean, breakfast was generous, and there's a wonderful covered terrace for eating outdoors, with immense views along the coast.

Space in rooms and spectacular views across rooftops and out to sea. Cosy bed and excellent hot water. Helpful and friendly staff.
