The staff were exceptional. We run out of baby nappies on a Sunday and the manager picked some up from the supermarket on his way to his shift and only charged us cost price. Location was great. 10 min walk down to the beach, 10 min walk up to the view point.

There was no air con in the room and it happened to be rather hot at night so wasn't the best sleep. Only a problem in the summer months.

This was a great choice and a lovely village but very steep with many stairs. The Spanish version of Doc Martin was filmed here.

I had a great deal of dificulty actually finding this hotel, the SatNav just couldn't cope. I did eventually find the car entrance and the tiny undeground car park at this location What Three Words ///mopeds.goatees.hires

Great location above and away from the bustle of the town. Good restaurant.

Ridiculous hotel parking (access no. of spaces), compounded by a festival weekend resulting in almost impossible to park on arrival. The hotel should not advertise parking but explain their remote parking solutions instead.

Garage parking available. Room 202 was super spacious as was the bathroom, and the sea view was superb. Very friendly staff. Spanish version of Doc Martin was filmed in the village. You need to be fit to walk to the harbour from the hotel

Nothing not to like Do be aware not to attempt to drive down the cobbled street as per Sat nav instruction!

Beautiful large room and bathroom looking out over the back gardens and street. Comfy beds, clean rooms and very central to the restaurants and harbour.

There was no parking available in the onsite garage and you needed to pre-book, it was also charged €8 per night.

The self service breakfast was very good, plenty of choices both English and continental hot and cold drinks a plenty. Meal could be taken inside in the dining room or outside on the terraces

Hot food could have been a little hotter.

View from room was great. Great value for money. Terrace restaurant with a sea view was good. Location at top of village is a delight. Staff and owner were very attentive. Above and beyond. Recommended.

Nothing really. The rooms are fine, but not luxurious. But for the price they are more than acceptable.

Due to the bar in the place, it was very noisy at night until late. The mattress was not very comfortable

The furnishings were a bit basic and not very comfortable. It was noisy at night being on a town street above a restaurant. The main problem was finding the hotel. Beware - google maps took us down a route which ended up in a very narrow town street which was a dead end and not possible to turn around in. If going by car, approach from the top of town, not the bottom !
