Room was clean, generally quiet: the hotel is located just a few meters from El Camino del Norte, so is an obvious choice for traveling pilgrims. It is also located quite near a number of popular bars and restaurants, all of which means quiet is relative, but in general, it was a quiet room. Water took a while to warm up, but the pressure was very good. When I needed an extra day to recuperate, the staff was eager and quick in their response.

Toilet in the room I had sometimes needed to be jiggled or the reservoir would not stop filling.

Very convenient place to stay, especially if doing El Camino off peak season. Very close to loads of great restaurants and cafes. Staff were helpful and the room was cozy, clean and warm. Extra blankets are also provided.

We did not have Internet whilst doing the Camino and felt that some of the messages we got from staff were erring on the side of a bit rude. Might be better in future to clarify a check in time. However, the man who checked us in was polite and friendly.

Centre location, clean room, beautiful view from the room. Reception is very helpful, even though their breakfast doesn't serve until 8:30am, he recommended a place where it will be available.

I'm a tiny person, so it's not a big problem for me, but I would imagine anyone bigger than me would have little room to wriggle in the shower. It takes a little while to get the hot water going, so at first I wasn't sure which way is hot water and which way is cold.

This is a good property right off the Camino. The staff was very friendly and allowed an early check in. The place is clean and quiet. The shower was small but the water was nice and hot with good water pressure. Overall it was a good stay!

Our room had twin beds which was fine except they were very hard and did not make for a comfortable nights sleep.

Villa Colunga is an excellent value for a very good price. It is very clean, your own bathroom and shower and bed. My favorite were the pillows! It is in a great location in Colunga, just a couple of blocks off of the main street, camino, and the church. You can also walk 2km to the beach from there or take the bus.

Room is nice & clean with heater on the room. There is a microwave oven.for us to use.

We were there early but the staff didn't allow us to check in early. Good to have heater but it is on off intermittent & that disturb our sleep as room is cold.

The owners are really nice and helpful. We arrived one day too early (my mistake) and they helpers us find a room as all hôtels were complete ! Thanks again for your help. The hôtel is perfect - nice room - well located !

It was a clean, safe place to sleep.

As I was leaving with wet hair on a cool crisp autumn morning, I passed the cleaning woman and asked if she had a hair dryer. She did! She let me use it and told me to leave it in the room when I left. I was grateful for that!

Great location and wry clean room! Very pleased with my stay. They have a restaurant that must be closed as it is off season. With that said, I have very little contact with hotel staff after check in. This concerned me as I was leaving my backpack for Correos but this was not a problem. They picked up my pack and delivered it. Look, this is a clean place close to a Mercado and restaurants so I would recommend it to peligrinos. Very clean, very comfortable and close to supplies! I do recommend it.

Nice location! Everything within walking distance in this fine village. The room was spacious and the beds were good. Everything is clean and well maintained! Recommended!
