The location was excellent, only two hours from home yet it felt a world away! We didn’t leave the hotel as we wanted a totally relaxing break, which we got. All the staff we came into contact with were unfailingly cheerful and eager to help in any way. The beds are extremely comfortable and I liked the choice of pillows.

We were in room 229 which is above the gym. We were woken at 7am every morning by people using the gym, in particular the heavy weights and the ropes. We tried to change rooms as the noise was so intrusive, but the hotel were unable to facilitate our request. I would not recommend room 229 for that reason.

My husband and I have just returned back home to Benalmadena after a week's stay in the Barcelo Conil Playa. From the minute we walked into the hotel we were greeted by friendly happy and professional staff. Our room was great and the whole experience outstanding! Even though the hotel was busy being in August you would never know. There were plenty of sunbeds, seats and the pools never busy. The waitering staff in the dining room and the snack bar were very good and food first class. Rooms were very clean nothing was too much trouble from the cleaners. We will definitely be back!

Our room had a pool view on the 3rd floor and we were on the ground by one of the pools. When we book again we will book first floor up ( 4th) as it's a bit of a walkway and not a lot of privacy on your balcony.

Staff was amazing very friendly and polite. Just couldn't do enough for you! We were allocated a room with a veranda with sun loungers just across from one of the pools. Enjoyed the privacy and the easy access to the pool. Brilliant! We also had lunch and dinner throughout our stay in the various restaurants and the food was incredible.

Pity that the quality of the breakfast spread in the buffet restaurant was well below the high standards of the Hotel's other restaurants.

Loved the location with the garden and pool, and then the beach a short walk away. Was great for running / gym in the morning and then lounging by the pool for the day.

After 5 days the food gets a bit same-y, but I think if you were there for a full week you would go out for dinner in Cadiz, or one of the paid for restaurants in the hotel (we were half board so had dinner in the buffet included).

It's a newish and big hotel in Fuente del Gallo. My mum stayed there and she absolutely loved the room. It's nicely furnished, modern, bright and the beds are super comfy. There weren't many guests in April when she stayed there so it was also quiet. Most of the staff were super friendly. The pool areas are nice although I don't know how crowded it will be in high season. We also enjoyed buffet dinner during part of our stay and it is very recommendable. Good food, the buffet changes daily (sometimes more Spanish food, sometimes more Asian food, sometimes more on the Italian side. Parking is available outside for free, an in the underground parking for a fee.

This was a really great hotel, opened only two years ago so everything felt pretty new. Staff were amazing, especially the beach bar and restaurant teams. Super friendly, appreciated my attempts at speaking Spanish and really added to make a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Two pools that we had access to, one big one and a smaller pool on a higher level. Both really good. Breakfast was solid, lots of options but liked that it wasn't piles of food that would go to waste. Overall I would give this hotel 5/5.

The outside terraces have see through glass which makes it a little strange when other guests feel obliged to say hello/have a chat but overall it was no problem at all.

It is super quiet (no kids). The rooms are well appointed and the cleaning staff are very helpful. The beds are comfy and there is a nice tv set. The pools are nice (thought the big pool needs some small redo). The restaurants are nice and the food is delicious and diverse (except some fruits, like melon that were sweet in the first couple of days and bitter afterwards). The beach and the sea water are terrific.

The way to the beach is downhill, some 150 meters away, and there is no beach club at all. You should take your own chairs and shade. The buffet was terrific, but, as stated above, some of the fruit was not good quality.

Room was small, cocktails were not great quality, i wish the cocktails were of restaurant quality rather than bar quality. My Daquiri was just in a cup with ice cubes and no dressing. My Bloody Mary also had no salt or dressing. My margarita was awful. They need a barrista. I wished for burger night in the buffet. Or even a Bloody Mary bar.

It was a beautiful hotel. Staff were lovely and the buffet on the Saturday & Sunday were 👌🏼

Only had 1 restaurant opened most days and food choice was limited for me personally in that restaurant. Would’ve liked to try out the other restaurants but found out later on that they were only opened on specific days. Buffet food options on the last day was a little disappointing and would’ve loved to have snack bar opened throughout:(

Quite disappointed with a special request. Asked for a bottle of red wine in my room to celebrate my 34th Wedding Anniversary and it never happened after being informed my request was approved and wouldnt be charged for it. Also thought there would be drinks in my room fridge only two small bottles of water
