It's an excellent hostel, everything very well thought, when they built it - in addition to that there were several plus-points: 1. The team: everyone there were very nice and let you feel to be part of "their family" from the first minute on. The owner Unai, the guy at the reception Alberto and even the cleaning lady. The atmosphere which is caused by that gives a very nice social vibe. 2. I met many very nice people there, in the week I stayed and everyone was very open. Don't worry, not in a party mode, it's just very easy to socialize if you want and yoj will have your quiet space, if you need it. 3. Said that I'm not a surfer and with almost 50 not having the typical hostel-age - I felt extremely comfortable there. If you are a surfer or not, doesn't matter. But the people who came there to surf, found an attached surf school and had a great time surfing. 4. I was in 4-bed room which was quite spacious and had very comfortable beds with a mattress size of 1,10 meters! 5. The hostel is perfectly located - only a few minutes walk from an amazing beach - where you can enjoy on the right hand side a nice beach time with beach bars and in the left hand side you can enjoy endless sunset walks to unwind (I really enjoyed that after my remote working at the evenings). 6. In just 5 minutes walk you are in the center of the very charming white Andalusian village with lots of authentic bars and restaurants and even outside of main season a vibrant night life at the weekends. 7. In only 1-2 minutes walk you also find a supermarket and a tuna-museum and a free library. All in all I had a great time at the hostel and I'm pretty sure, that I will come back soon.

Almost everyone in the hostel speaks good English. This is rather unusual in Spain, except in the big cities. I had a problem during my stay and it was solved quite quickly & in a good way -the staff was very friendly and helpful. I was very happy. After checking out, I was able to leave my luggage at reception for a few hours at no extra charge. That is also rather unusual. The hostel was very clean and is cleaned every day. There are restaurants and a supermarket a few 100 meters away. The beach is also just a few minutes' walk away. There is an extensive entertainment program. Surfing courses, language exchange and even yoga. So it never gets boring. If you want, you can also quickly get in touch with others in the communal kitchen. I was happy, it was not a 24h party hostel only for young people - so I could relax 🙏😅 100% recommendation

Nothing to complain

The bed is the most comfortable hostel bed I've ever slept in. Great mattress and blanket, privacy through the curtain, there's a light and outlet and there's even some shelf space, a fold out table and a hook! Very spacious too! The hostel is just a minute walk away from the beach and it's also right next to the center of town. There's a nice lounge area! Staff is very kind and helpful!

There's only 1 ladies bathroom with 2 toilets and 3 showers. It was low season during my stay, so it didn't cause problems for me. But I can imagine it might not be enough during high season. Same for the kitchen: there's really only space for 1 person at a time to cook/clean dishes/acces the fridge. The dorm area is situated in a dark, kind of underground hallway. My dorm was pretty dark and had a window without a view, just facing an interior patio.

Incredible location, short walk to the beach and restaurants and coffee shops with a supermarket next door. The staff were absolutely amazing and the vibes were great!! I had to work during the day but the staff were really cool about me working in the lobby. The rooms were cozy and had ac. I really liked the fingerprint locks so I didn’t have to worry about a card or an app or anything. Would absolutely stay here next time I’m in conil.

The fridge would get very full at times but it wasn’t unmanageable.

The room is large, I slept very well in the cabin, the water was great in the shower and in the waters -taking surf lessons- at the Playas de la Fontanilla, Playa de Roche and Playa del Palmar. The staff was very pleasant and professional. I liked trying another way of travelling and accommodation. Conil is a beautiful city and I come back every year. It is an ideal accommodation to visit Chiclana, Vejer de La Frontera, Barbate, Zahara de los Atunes, Caños de Meca...

That they were summer dates and we could swim

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was my first time staying at a hostel so I wasn’t sure how it worked in comparison to a hotel. The facilities were very clean and lounge, kitchen area comfortable for hanging out. The location is perfect for walking access to the town center. However if you want to surf, you have to book their shuttle which takes you to the next beach over El Palmar (where the waves are). The beach right in front of the hostel is not the surfable beach. So just plan ahead to be sure you book their shuttle if you plan to go surfing. I truly enjoyed my time here and definitely plan to come back! The hostel was not noisy nor crowded. Everyone there was friendly and quiet during the night.

That you have to take a shuttle to the surfable beach. But this was my error by not knowing the area enough to book a place closer to the surfable beach. I did love having such easy access to the town and restaurants.

The bed is very comfortable and the pod gives you good privacy. Staff is friendly. The hostel is very well located and clean.

No luggage room before checkin/ after checkout. You have to pay extra to get towel (€1, cheap but just bothers) and the shower is messy and has no space to dress. Overall is a good value for money.

Clean, comfortable and maintains privacy despite being in a dorm with other 7 people. You get in with finger print! No key needed! Nice area to relax. WiFi is strong everywhere. The bed has a light, small shelf, locker and a thick curtains for light and privacy. The kitchen is small but well equipped and every room has a personal shelf for food storage! Bathrooms female and male clean, hair dryer included!! Terrace by the entrance with tables and chairs

Nothing! I would have just added some sofas or more comfortable chair in the terrace. Unsure about laundry service.

I rarely give 10s but this hostel deserves it. Brand new and clean, super quiet rooms that are well separated from the lounge area (finally!!). It partners with (or owns) a surf school in nearby Palmar with free rides to the classes. The ideal place for a surfing week but also to just relax and socialise. The vibes are priceless. And bonus points for the ultra-comfy beds.

I loved everything - the cleaniness of the hostel, the availability of facilities to cook and store your food. Especially I loved the beds and the privacy they gave, you have enough space to sit straight and close the curtain so you have complete privacy. in the area of the bed you have the socket, even mini table and the shelf. The bed itself was really comfortable. The stuff was very helpful and nice.
