I spent a great week at Alua Village. With My Favorite Club upgrade I got a room with an ocean view, close to the main building. The room was nice, spacious, with comfy beds, cleaned every day. The food was good, every day you could have some fish or sea food which I enjoyed a lot. My children were happy to have ice cream after lunch and dinner. My Favorite Club option gives you unlimited access to a lounge with good coffee, snacks, soft drinks and good choice of alcohol and also sunbeds. The outdoor pools were rather chilly in February but an indoor pool with a jacuzzi and sauna fully make up for that. There is a nice gym available. There are some lovely cats living in the hotel area. The hotel is situated on a hill so you have to walk to the beach for a few minutes (and then climb back to your room :). The beach is lovely - fine sand, not too crowded, there are 2 bars on the beach and some water sports available. You can meet lots of chipmunks on the way to the beach and on the beach. There is a Mercadona supermarket just a few minutes walk from the hotel; there is also a bus stop nearby. All the staff at the hotel were friendly, nice and helpful

No water in the room provided or water pumps near the room so you have to walk up to refill each time or buy additional bottles from the shop. Food allergies are a little tricky as nothing is labelled so you have to ask each time which can be difficult to understand/trust. Tv would be handy to have a change language option or ability to use Netflix etc to watch a movie but this is a minor as you can just use phone/ipad.

The pool and other facilities were great (spa, sauna, steam room). The walk to the beach is easy enough and not too far. The buffet had something for everyone and has a different theme each evening. Staff are friendly enough and although we didn’t interact with the entertainment team they always seemed friendly and fun. We enjoyed the evening entertainment each night, they spoke English, Spanish and French so tried to cater for everyone. The all inclusive bar finished at 11pm meaning you had to pay for drinks after then.

Could be cleaner, the pool had debris on the bottom all week which could’ve been picked out or cleaned. The floor in the room was dirty still after the room had been cleaned. In other hotels the floors have always been mopped, this could be an easy fix. However, the towels and bedding were always perfect.

Very clean, can’t suggest my favourites club more!! It made our whole trip, it’s well worth it so don’t hesitate. You get closer rooms to facilities, a lounge with your own liquors, wine, spirits, and softs. Which is quite useful considering the cocktails in the AI were pre-made mixers and were really disappointing. You also get a water bottle everyday in your room and a stocked mini bar at arrival, which is great since tap water isn’t for human consumption. The pools were great, buffet very varied and staff was excellent. The walk to the beach is quite steep but well worth it. With MFC you also don’t have to put deposits down for pool towels which is convenient, you get a private part to dine in at the buffet which insures you a spot. Get My Favourites Club!!

Food was very nice. As a vegetarian I stuck with the more basic options but my partner loved the meat options. Drinks were also lovely from the bar and restaurant. The outdoor pool was quite cold but so refreshing in the heat. When we arrived one of the pools were under construction but on our last day it reopened and looked fabulous. Rooms were absolutely perfect and the cleaners did brilliant jobs. Entertainment was pretty good, people have said the entertainers only pay attention to French people. But personally I thought they payed the most attention to people who got involved so as long as you're friendly, have conversations, and get involved in the Entertainment there's no issue. The beach was quite a walk (especially if you hate walking like me) but it was so gorgeous and so worth it, and on the walk down there was cats and chipmunks who will approach you. One of the days which were very hot me and my partner walked down and gave the chipmunks some water and they all came running towards us. The reception is very helpful and easy to approach with any questions. there is also a shop on site full of plenty of different necessities and souvenirs that me and my partner went to almost every day. Over all I would 100% recommend the hotel. Looking back at the negative reviews they did make me nervous a couple weeks before going. But they were very wrong and shouldn't put you off.

Our stay was superb! The hotel is in a fantastic location—convenient and close to everything we needed. The food was delicious with a nice variety, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

One thing that could use improvement is the bath—it’s definitely time for an update or replacement. Also, at the beginning of our stay, we felt a bit confused because the animation team mostly spoke French. If you don’t speak French and want to take part in the activities, it can be quite challenging.

The spacious and quiet room, the balcony, friendly staff and the beautiful surroundings, also the food, indoor swimming pool, gym and sauna/steam room were great:-)

Waste of money for the massage - it was just stroking, no pressure applied, it seemed that the massage therapist was a total beginner. Also, the yoga session was not good at all, although the teacher was lovely and friendly, but she was unwell so the session was not well managed.

The staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. Food in the buffet restaurant was varied and well displayed. Entertainment staff tried to include everyone as much as possible as most guests speak French - with activities throughout the day and shows at night. There are lots of sun loungers and a snack bar for when the restaurant is closed. Really good quality for all inclusive

The path leading to rooms is winding and quite steep and not very suitable for more elderly guests. There are no amenities nearby (bars, shops etc) besides a supermarket and the beach is accessed by a dirt track that's very steep and rocky - not good for flipflops! On the plus side for less than €10 a taxi from the hotel to nearby Morro Jable takes about 10 mins where there are lots of shops and the most amazing beach. Overall if you're looking for a good rest but don't mind a bit of exercise, Alua Village is excellent value for money.

I think that reception staff should be a bit more proactive and fast in attending clients, I felt that sometimes their English understanding was pretty poor. I would recommend the resort specifying that you might get a room at the very end of the hill so it’s a bit challenging to walk up and down all the time

Awesome experience! I love this vacation, the structure is very beautiful, the main protagonist in this place is the SPA, that adds something that other village doesn’t have, the food is good and the beach is quite near and you can also see the squirrel while you are going to the beach, the staff is very welcoming and nice. The animation is composed by funny guys, I would like to make the compliments to the contactee Tove, who she is always smiling and very funny! I would suggest this village to other people!
