It is a very quiet spot and with a lot of privacy especially in the Sol room. I felt like in paradise sunbathing at the pool which was almost always all for me or relaxing on the terrace. The hotel is fortunately quite different from the other busy places in Gandia, off the beaten tracks, which I loved. I would definitely recommend it to everyone appreciating calmness and a bit of luxury.

Nothing really, but to make our stay even better I would turn down the music at the pool a bit, add baskets or some bicycle holders, wouldn't like to be asked to fill in the breakfast form each day, add less salt to scrambled eggs, replace the coke and sprite from the mini bar with beer or juice.

We loved the location - away from the crowds, We loved the room, The staff are amazing, the food delicious ( Dinner was a whole seabass cooked in salt ), breakfast was excellent. Whats not to like. In fact I wanted to extend but they were fully booked. 100per cent recommended.

We had a fabulous stay at La Gastrocasa - once you walk through the doors, there’s a feeling of relaxation and calm. First class service from all the team, a lovely pool, comfortable room, and excellent honesty bar - try the homemade beer - it’s great!

Thanks the gastrocasa for being such an amazing host. They have made our stay a pleasure in playa Gandia. We had 2 dinners and they were absolutely superb. Agustin is an amazing host and even better chef, if this can be possible. He is attentive, adds some guidance on what to visit around, either for beaches or restaurants. His mum, Roxana, really attentive too. Nice to have a conversation with or ask for anything during breakfast. She is also spotless in her attention to detail, apart of the decoration on their home. I really love the decoration throughout the house, in addition to the room. We were in room Mar, the room has high standards amenities. The rooms are cleaned everyday if you want to, spotless and disinfected thanks to Fatima. The shower pressure was superb, the terrace with the lounge seats to have sun baths has a superb views. Although the best place to do so it’s the swimming pool with the jacuzzi. The highlight for us, if we need to choose, was the honesty bar with the Picaeta Sibarita brand of beers and vermouth. We almost finished them all. We love them!!! Definitely we will stay there if we are back to Gandia area! Such an amazing stay with them that 5 stars rate wouldn’t be enough to rate their amenities and hosting skills. Many thanks and all the best in this

Very cozy small hotel. When we arrived and had our first dinner in their backyard under the trees and night sky near the pool, we felt like in paradise. Very calm neighbourhood, attentive staff, comfortable room with a nice terrace, delicious breakfast and dinner.

A little far from the beach, but nothing that car or bike (that they provide free of charge!) cannot handle

Everything was excellent

The fridge in the room was noisy and only had 2 bottles of water. Very welcome but not really needed.

Lovely pool area and honesty bar. Beautiful room. Owners very friendly and helpful.
