An amazing hotel, recently refurbished with many quirky but charming rooms and passages, inventively furnished with an eclectic mix of old and new. Dinner was very much in the Spanish character, freshly prepared and very tasty. The continental breakfast was equally enjoyable. The village itself was fascinating to see, and all the local people we met were most friendly and helpful with directions.

We were worried about access to the hotel through very narrow streets, but our large car passed through without difficulty, and we found on-street parking close to the hotel; don't be put off by the bold statement "there is no parking"!

Our stay was lovely, the building was vey interesting and the room was great. Both dinner and breakfast were very good value for money

The staff was very helpful and walked out to meet me and help me through the labyrinth of little streets. A good simple meal with nice wine and an excellent breakfast. The room was spacious and decorated in style. Really enjoyed my stay.

Nice local bar/restaurant at hotel .good basic fare. Moroccan style decor. Old building but had a lift, important for us!

Village appears to have little to offer a visitor. . This was an overnight for us so o k.

It is a very nice hotel, rooms good, but simple.housekeeping did a great job, room well cleaned,bar and restaurant good. Lovely news years evening party, they went through a lot of effort to give us a nice night.

It wasn’t a 4 star hotel, but they did try to make it very good. Staff not very friendly to start with, but warmed to us and then they joined in. Not a lot to complain about.

Traditional setting in quiet rural village. Good base for hiking Roman aquaduct etc and nearby. Room was amazing and quite quirky. Evening meal good. Staff very helpful.

Welcome at the reception was modest. Room was cold; heating did not work and no blankets provided.

Practically ignored by bar tender/waitress. The meal was haphazard and disjointed as our starter was served with the main course. We requested condiments and asked why what was on the menu was not on the plate.We were made to feel like our being there was an imposition again by bartender/waitress. Other guests seemed to be treated with more respect..
