I have stayed at this hotel before, which in it's own way is it's recomendation and I was very happy to stay here again. I was travelling by motorcycle and the off road parking for cars and motorcycles is perfect and super secure. The lady at reception was super helpful and friendly and couldnt have done more to make me welcome. The room was good, the bathroom had a great shower and the hotel is well located for a short stroll to the main square/plazza and shops but it also in a quite location. Breakfast was good - all in all a good stay and a place I would stay again if travelling that way.

There wasnt anything at all that I didnt like - I'd be very happy to stay there again.

Warm and welcoming staff on arrival and throughout the stay. Nicely appointed room with aircondition. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. VERY good water pressure in the shower. Nice welcome drink and good dinner in the Hotel restaurant at very acceptable prices. Breakfast was continental but plenty of choice, outstanding coffee. Free parking in a locked area was a huge plus. If you are ever in the Guadix area, I recommend you give this charming little place a go.

Our room was very good. Spotless clean. Bed linen lovely. Bed comfy and I think a “Tempur” mattress. Not my personal preference as they make me feel uncomfortably warm, but that’s a personnel thing. The lady on reception was delightful. Super helpful. Hotel had own free car parking. Lovely old interesting building. Great location.

Our only sl. disappointment was the meal in the restaurant. Nice restaurant and efficient service but food disappointing and expensive. We had a nice salad but main courses very sparce and not hot. Bread stale. Wine good.

The staff were all exceptional - they made us welcome & did everything to make our stay wonderful.They booked really nice restaurants to eat in.

The suite was a disappointment. It was quite small & dark, the tiled bath wasn't really usable - it didnt represent real value for money. Our meal in the restaurant was poor - and a free 'shot' wasn't recompense! Breakfasts were reasonable, location in the old town excellent.

This was a really good place to stay, great position in the town only a few minutes walk from shops and bars and with excellent secure parking - which was important for me as I was travelling by motorcycle. The secure car park is actually a minute or two walk from the hotel but that's a non issue really as the parking is ideal. The welcome at reception on arrival was first class and the lady who checked me in couldnt have done more. The hotel itself is a 16th century building with superb renovation, conversion and a real eye for detail - it's terrific. There's a really nice seating area on the ground floor - and the breakfast/dining room was probably the best of my trip (and I think I stayed in about 9 or 10 places). Breakfast itself was superb, well set out and with a very good choice. The accomomdation was great value as well and I would have no hesitation at all in recomending this place and I would absolutely stay here again if travelling in this area.

There really is nothing that I can think of - the hotel really is very good, good location, good facilities and good staff. Who could ask for more.

The hotel is in a very quiet location but only 50 or so metres from the main square in Guadix, which means it is in the historic heart of the town with bars, restaurants and shops nearby. However, the Barrio of Cave Houses can be reached after a walk of only ten minutes and walks of no more than 15 minutes take visitors to all the other points of interest in a delightful town except the railway station. As for the hotel itself, it is beautiful. The Spanish have a knack for successfully combining old and new in landmark buildings. Although our bedroom and its facilities were excellent, the small patio and lounge downstairs were exceptional. We liked two other things very much. First, our bedroom had a large fridge, a sink and a flat tabletop where we could easily prepare snacks and drinks. Second, guests are entitled to a glass of house wine on arrival. Ours came with a small bowl of delicious garlic-flavoured olives.

Nothing could have been done better.

The building was lovely, reflecting the past of Guadix. The room was large and had a lovely view. The restaurant was convenient and offered good breakfast options.

The evening menu in the restaurant was a disappointment. We had stayed several days previously, when told some items were not available. To return and have the same limitations, especially when had already tried what was offered on our first visit was disappointing.

Bed and pillow was too hard for us but it’s down to personal preference Restaurant was beautiful but let down by the quality of the food, not good. Breakfast very basic continental

The staff member was particularly helpful. She went beyond expectations to meet our needs and circumstances. The restaurant had excellent food, both at dinner and breakfast.

The car park was not easy to locate as the guidance provided failed to take us to the gate. We found the location, not the building, a little challenging for mobility as I had to temporarily rely on a walking stick.

The room was comfortable and stylish. The hotel is beautiful and full of history and the location is central with the square within a couple of minutes walk. The carpark is really close and easy to use. Breakfast was great and good value. We didn't get a chance to try the bar or evening meal so can't report on that.

Nothing. We were there for one night and there was nothing that we didn't like.
