The hotel was very clean, comfortable and perfect for a two night stay. Decor was fantastic throughout. Staff were friendly. Good location in Brinas..Good value.

Not sure what the hotel can do but there was a dog barking nearby both nights..pretty much all night. It only affected our room..the kids were down the corridor and it was much fainter. We had planned to walk to Haro via the old bridge..no one told us it was completely closed off for repairs. Seemed like something the reception should have told us as I am sure most people use the bridge to get to and from Haro if they are using bikes or walking.

The entire hotel was fantastic with a great use of the age and antiques to give the place a cozy feel while celebrating and valuing the historical significance. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the bathroom was clean. There was some noise from inside the hotel (other guests) but given the age of the hotel, it was not bothersome at all and just added to the charm. Breakfast was generous with fresh baked goods and made to order eggs. The location was great, walkable to every where and even a short jaunt to Haro.

It was difficult to find at first, access was awkward to start and there is no onsite parking (but very close nearby free parking).

Lovely sized rooms, beds were very comfortable and the hotel was lovely and clean and well maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the pool/garden area was the cherry on top. It's a beautiful, rustic building in a stunning quiet area and they were amazing with my 2 young children who id guess were not their usual clientele.

It's a small hotel, ran by a small team so sometimes you have to search for some help, but that never took longer than a few minutes and they were always so kind and obliging.

From arriving at Hospederia Senorio de Briñas to leaving our experience was excellent. Our room was large and comfortable with good views around the hotel. Staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast was excellent in terms of choice and variety. The location made exploring Brinas easy. We enjoyed our stay.

Having a mini bar, for cold drinks storage, or the facility to make coffee or tea, would have been helpful as the cold water fountain in reception was not always convenient.

Great location for an hours drive into Bilbao, it’s the quietest sleepiest town ever and booked a pool to help with the nothing around there to do aspect.

I ticked the button for swimming pool and paid the extra price but the pool wasn’t available until the day we were leaving. I expect better from booking.com why allow an option to be part of the filter when it’s clearly not available.

A beautiful hotel in the centre of Brinas. The rooms were traditional but beautifully furnished with lovely crisp white bed linen. The beds were very comfortable.

The pool area was a little dated and tired, this didn’t matter to us as we were not planning a swim. The pool was really a large hot tub, the area around it a combination of fake grass and weeds.

Our small dog was made very welcome. The hotel is very comfortable and close to the centre of the small town/village. It is very old and full of antiques and fascinating pieces. I loved the monogrammed bedding, made you feel special. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was superb, lots of choice and we were welcomed to sit in the lounge with the dog so not in the restaurant but he was with us. The young woman on reception was very welcoming and very happy to tell us more about the local area and places to see. Her enthusiasm for the hotel and area was engaging. We ate in a lovely bar/restaurant, really good food. We strolled through the town and loved walking alongside the river Ebro. We loved our stay and would happily go back. It's a characterful, historic, genuine hotel in a sleepy, one horse village. Out of season there are two bars, one open (very good) local restaurant that opens at 8:30pm. Descriptions/directions from Ricardo, your host, are in straightforward English. If you like simple and traditional, then this place, and Brinas, are great.

I didn't mind but there isn't really a hotel bar, although Ricardo supplies bottles of wine.

Old, characterful building. Quirky. Very clean. Only a small village but we’ll placed for restaurants. And of course the Rioja wine region. The staff were all friendly but the guy on reception was unbelievably helpful. I used the garage for parking, he shows me where the garage is then waits while I go and get the car to direct me to park - all for 9 euros a night parking!Recommended a brilliant restaurant and great value. If you want to go to that region, then it’s a great place to stay. Also not expensive.

We loved its rustic charm. A beautiful property family run. Good location for the village and easy to find with free parking. Small pool in the back which we could use. Nice and quiet. The breakfast and evening meal were good and fresh. Our room was lovely too. Lovely and friendly staff.

There was nothing we didn’t like about this property.
