The cost for one night was half that we paid for a hotel in the outskirts of Madrid. The directions suggested that the hotel did not have car parking facilities. However, we were able to park almost adjacent to the hotel, which was useful. The check-in process was very simple, and the lift to our rooms was clean and well-maintained. The room itself was adequate for our needs, with a small balcony. Although we were on the 7th floor, we were not as confident using it, as we both have a fear of heights. However, for those who haven't, this would be an excellent place to sit and enjoy snacks and drinks. Everything in the room was clean, with the towels and bedding crisp and fresh. WiFi reception was superb. The hotel is very dog-friendly, and had it not been a very cold morning, we would have taken our breakfast and used the outside seating area. The continental breakfast offered a sufficient variety for those who enjoyed this type of breakfast. Check out was easy.

The bed itself was not very comfortable and was relatively small. The outside car park is not secure, although it appears that there was once a sliding metal gate adding protection.

The room was comfortable and with the triple glazing, was very quiet. The aircon worked well. The bed was comfortable. There was plenty of choice for breakfast.

We decided not to eat in the restaurant because it was too much like a large canteen, there were two large coach parties which made it very noisy. The adjacent cafe was open to the restaurant and served burgers, fish and chicken and chips which were rather pricey for what was provided. Softer pillows on the bed would have been appreciated.

Rooms were excellent, spacious, comfortable and very clean. I particularly liked the desk in the rom that came with a desklight and usb sockets. Dinner in the restaurant was also excellent, good choice of food and wine, great service. The location was perfect for our onward journey and we appreciated the secure storage for our bikes. Breakfast was simple but perfect and came with a great selection of fruit juices.

Clean and comfortable room in a great location for a stopover en route from Southern Spain to the Bilbao ferry or even France. All necessary facilities and convenient safe parking right outside reception. Restaurant was good value and had a reasonable choice if meals for the daily menu or choose your own.

For the price and taking everything into account, there were no real negatives worth mentioning.

We stay at Hotel Tudanca Miranda couple of times a year as a half-way stop on our drive down to Portugal from northern France as it has everything we need for a comfortable and convenient overnight stay. It's in a good location for our route, and just a short walk over the river from the old town. The staff are friendly, rooms are comfortable and the food in the restaurant is always good.

It's only a minor complaint - the buffet-style breakfast doesn't have any cereals, which we'd prefer, but there's still plenty of toast, pastries and coffee.

The rooms and the beds are big, it's very nice and spacious there, you have the AC which is a must in the summer in Spain. Beds are very comfy. Good wifi.

The building and the hotel itself is quite old. Parking is not easy to reach – if you go from hotel side, the way down is very steep, and from the gate side, it's so bumpy if you have a low car you can really scratch that bottom.

Easy location to find and plenty parking either in front of the hotel or the unpacked car park down the hill (it is fenced). Nice spacious rooms which allowed dogs. The staff were very accommodating and switched my sister’s room to one for anyone with limited mobility. That meant she had a walk in shower instead of showering in a bath, and they was much appreciated. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms cost (almost too warm), and they had lovely views to the river and a small balcony to walk out onto. Breakfast was continental and adequate for us. We liked that the restaurant was adjacent to the hotel - surprisingly busy for early December, but this hotel has many travellers on business it would seem, as well as tourists.

The hotel is a little tired decor wise, but the friendly and helpful staff as well as the clean and comfortable rooms are more important.

The Hotel is very well located for anyone driving from Portugal to the ferry ports of northern Spain. A very big multi storey building, with a basement restaurant serving simple wholesome meals at a very reasonable price. For those with a bit more energy, there are various restaurants within a 10 / 15 minute walk, which looked very nice. Our room on the 5th floor was very comfortable, and we were surprised to find we had an adjoining sitting room with a settee and easy chair, desk and second TV. A very pleasant addition, and it is a shame we were only staying there for one night as we were unable to fully enjoy the extra space.

We have booked this hotel several times. It is next to the highway so handy when doing long trips. The size of the room, the heating, and the bed's confort. Stuff was friendly. The cafeteria is next to the hotel; access directly from the hotel is possible.

The restaurant is not open for early dinners like in other European countries, but it is possible to eat a bite in the cafeteria.

Perfect if you’re travelling with your dog. The staff was super nice and we didn’t have to pay extra for parking or for our doggie. The rooms are clean and spacious with a beautiful view.

The room was extremely hot. Even though the heating units turned off automatically at 11.30pm, they turned on quite early in the morning again and it wasn’t possible to adjust them manually.
