The place is beautiful. I had the superior room, king size bed, loved the balcony and the view. The place was c spotless. The smell of the place was nice - inviting and welcoming. Loved the amenities of my room - from the Cafe Richards Nespresso coffee, the teas, and the bottled water that rest available. The robe was also a nice touch. Really just a home away from home feeling of comfort, even at being able to watch television, manage the AC, or just stand in the balcony enjoying the view. When entering, I lived the feel of the received areas. It was welcoming and nicely set like a hybrid hotel/bed and breakfast. The food was great. The salmon well-made, and the courses set nicely. The desserts were amazing, and I always enjoyed the breakfasts croissants Else and Leo were phenomenal. Clearly, their focus was to ensure and amazing experience for us as guests. The welcome, the engagement to ensure we were clear about the offerings, like the heated pool, coming and going on the property, places in the town to eat at, willingness to offer to make and then to make reservations in the town for dinner during the time the kitchen at Villa Harriet was closed. The heated pool was a nice addition, indeed.. Not hot but temperate and a great balance to the hot weather. I don't think i covered everything, and I hope what i shared gives you a sense of what you will experience when booking this place. Fantastic hosts and a great start to my 46 day travel from France through Spain. Highly and strongly recommended!

the room was super clean and fresh. breakfast was very nice, and the dinner we had was tasty. the owners, husband and wife were lovely people, and she spoke very good english. nice garden to sit and relax with a book.

the room was a tad on the small size, no curtains anywhere, not that it compromised privacy, but if you need blackout to sleep,... the stairs to our room on the second floor were a bit of an issue for a dodgy knee, we would have found it a struggle to lift our large suitcases up 4 sets of stairs, had it not been for the (strong) owner!.

it is a beautiful retreat… the property is so completely beautiful and well kept… It’s amazing the views not only of the property itself, but of the mountains the surrounding areas, vineyards… even has a beautifully enclosed pool in the back of the property that is so serene… In addition, Elise and Leo have been amazing hosts and chefs… I am vegan, and I don’t expect anyone to ever go out of their way for me, but they went above and beyond every day to ensure that I had things to eat… an amazing creations for dinner…. What a lovely experience being here.

This place is amazing. The view is extraordinary- at the top of a very steep hillside overlooking the valley (3000ft above valley floor). The hoteliers were wonderful-very helpful and just genuinely interesting, nice people. We had dinner and originally were the only patrons ( you have to make a reservation), but others showed up and they were very accommodating. Food was delicious and so was the wine. This place may well be the highlight of our trip!

Overall look of the entire facility— clean and modern.

Hostess provide early breakfast but we had lo leave an hour earlier. The coffee did not stay hot to our liking. Easily fixed with coffee pot and a small microwave for guests to make a fresh pot to go in disposable cups. Croissants were great. We are still reusing the small water bottles throughout the Camino de Santiago because they fit our waist packs…thanks

The most gorgeous property. The hosts and the property were lovely! Warm, cosy, clean and comfortable- everything sparkling new. A great buffet breakfast and they offered a delicious home cooked dinner as well, local trout and wine grown by the owners- so, so lovely!

Lovely setting, gorgeous yards, landscaping and pool, clean, well-appointed, spacious, modern but suitably quaint rooms with excellent, professional, friendly service. Extended our stay to enjoy a third night. Wouldn’t hesitate to return or to recommend to others.

It is a beautifully renovated house in a quiet setting. A pool that is heated and a quick walk to the village. The hostess was so personable and accommodating and the food was exceptional. Chef Leo prepared a wonderful dinner!

Beautiful traditional villa on the Camino Frances on the outskirts of St Jean Pied de Port; friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts, comfortable well appointed rooms and lovely food. Lovely terrace. Peaceful setting. We couldn't have asked for better. Highly recommended.

A magical place to stay in the foothills of The Pyrenees. We had cycled over the mountains to get there and what a delight to rest in this glorious villa. Wonderfully welcoming, beautiful quiet rooms, splendid dinner by our hosts, wine from the estate. Brilliant!
