The location is spectacular. I was looking for a quiet place as an antidote to a particularly heavy recent work schedule. This beautiful hotel in its equally beautiful natural surroundings definitely ticks all the boxes. Add to that the large and very comfortable rooms, the modern, eco-friendly building and the amazing effect of the natural environment and you can see why I will return here every time I need my batteries recharged! Just a brief word in praise of the helpful, friendly staff, the high quality of the restaurant food and the amazing breakfast. The owner and his wife have clearly put a lot of time and effort into creating a high-class hotel in this fascinating part of Andalucia. They have succeeded.

Every aspect of this exceptional hotel -- its thoughtful, modern design and amenities, privileged quiet, rural location, it's remarkably high standards of warm professionalism and care for every need / request of its guests, friendly personal engagement of its owners and solution-oriented staff, its excellent breakfasts and fabulous dinner creations of it's owner-chef -- made it the most enjoyable and memorable destination in our 12 day motorcycle trip across Andalucia and southern Portugal. A perfect base from which to enjoy our last four days of beautiful mountain roads around la Sierra Nevada. Thank you Marc & Luz, Sara & Elisa!

Having to leave.

This is a comfortable, stylish modern hotel with exceptional friendly staff, and a welcoming, knowledgeable host. The location was a great base for exploring the natural and cultural heritage of the area. For us this included bird watching, visiting the nearby spaghetti western film locations at La Calahorra, and walking sections of the Camino Mozarabe.

Honestly the most enjoyable hotel experience I've had. I was looking for a peaceful week in the countryside and that's exactly what I got. The hotel was immaculate, the staff were excellent and accommodating, and Marc was very helpful with his suggestions of activities to do. The room was incredibly clean and comfortable. The restaurant was amazing too. A wide selection of food on the menu and everything was delicious!

This property is situated in a quiet and restful country setting, a short distance from Huéneja. It is new and tastefully appointed with modern design and amenities. The restaurant serves top-notch food, both for dinner and breakfast. Service by the owner and staff was excellent throughout our stay. We loved everything about the Hotel Boutique Molino de Enmedio.

This hotel is a unicorn! They provide a 4 star luxury experience in the middle of a remote nature reserve. The owner, Mark, is a hospitality professional who cooks himself for a lovely dinner experience. Breakfast is á la carte and fantastic, too. The rooms are exactly as advertised, in as new condition and sparkling clean. When my motorcycle had a technical issue, he even called a qualified mechanic from his personal network to help me sort it out.

Beautiful property in the middle of the most lovely nowhere. Plenty of quaint Spanish villages close by though. Extremely modern property with a very nice rural charm. That dichotomy makes this unique. Well worth the visit and give the food is excellent and the pool is too, you can easily spend a few days here.

The only weird thing was the ISP censoring even YouTube comments… or normal YouTube videos. Must be some extreme filtering. Very safe for kids no doubt but I found it very annoying.

Super peaceful location with views to the mountains. A very quiet haven hotel with quality at its core. Wonderful husband and wife team who absolutely made it for us. Nothing was too much trouble and both Marc and Luz are so charming.

Mark & Luz were excellent hosts, they are super attentive to guests needs and put on amazing breakfasts and dinners for us. We are the cycling team with people from the UK and Spain and they couldn't have done more to make our trip a success. Very comfortable hotel in a great location to explore the wonderful cycling terrain around the area. Secure bike storage and flexible timing on meals with a lovely pool for post ride relaxing.

Black out blinds in the room.

it’s a super modern property in a very peaceful, rustic setting. The junior suite was very spacious and tastefully decorated. the views are spectacular and the stars at night unbelievable.

For me it wasn’t a problem, but some people might find the openness of the bathroom strange. it would have been nice to have more grounds to enjoy, but we had a lovely walk back down towards Huéneja. There are some wonderful views from parts of the room, but others overlook the car park.
