What an outstanding hotel, this property is about 45 minutes from Bilbao and we had this for our last night of a weeks tour, the property has had a major refurbishment and it’s just breathtaking with the rooms being so modern but keeping in character of the original unit, attention to detail is excellent, I think it is family run and nothing was to much trouble, there is an outside bar and the menu is plentiful and no restriction to where you want to eat— inside / outside.. The views are excellent and there is horse trading in the grounds which is pleasant to watch.

The property is located in a gorgeous area, with stunning views. The rooms are very nice and comfortable, and guests have use of a kitchen and living room area. The owners are incredibly nice. Though we didn’t try the dinner or breakfast, the coffee was delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There is plenty of free parking available and the property is a short drive from a number of sites, both beaches and mountains. There are a number of horse riding opportunities at the property.

While this is not a criticism, you would definitely need your own transport.

We loved staying in the hills, up away from all of the hustle of a town. The location was absolutely spot on. The hotel was clean and tidy, nothing too fancy but very comfortable. We had great service from the staff, and although struggled a little with English they helped us whenever we needed. We had dinner there 2 nights in a row, basic homecooked food but was lovely.

Only tiny thing was that the Breakfast was limited, there was a hot section but only eggs and bacon and the rest was continental, however as there were only a few rooms you can see why it's a limited selection.

Beautiful views to relax in morning and evening on the terras. Also the rooms are very warm and cozy designed. Breakfast and the hamburger for dinner was very tasty. Don't expect a gastronomic hotel service, it's a laid back relaxed human atmosphere where you can be yourself and have you're own time. If you need something you ask and the host will help you where needed. Exactly what we love!

Some mosquito nets in the windows and a hairdryer could have been nice to have, but we didn't mind. The real sad part is we couldn't stay longer

The location was very pretty, rural, in rolling hills. If we had stayed longer we could have gone for a nice walk or hike. The inn is sort of horse-themed and has a horse training barn/ring. The breakfast was an ok buffet. The staff members were very nice and helpful.

The air freshener/perfume used in the room was very strong. We had to open the windows to air out the odor.

Very rural and built recently to the highest standards using lots of wood much of it really antique and old. Marvellous! All staff so helpful and friendly especially “Swallow “

The hotel is comfortable and the rooms are beautiful and good standard. The receptionist spoke English and the WiFi worked fine.

The staff is a bit hard to find, would recommend a bell at the outside bar or at the reception.

Warm welcome. Really comfortable spacious room. Beautiful views of the mountains. Horse riding is available and is a must! Highly recommend this place. Dinner, breakfast and drinks are available at the bar.

Owners are great but don’t speak English however the rider instructor does so you can get by. Used google translate lots. Apart from that is was really lovely.

It's a fantastic place to stay, the staff are so friendly and helpful. The scenery is breathtaking, the room was clean and rustic. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely go back.

No phone signal and no WiFi. No big deal but just made it tricky to check messages in the room.
