We had a top room at the back which was very quiet (301). There's a lift. We couldn't hear the other guests. Street noise from cafés not a problem, as it is quiet at night. There was a chiming church clock but didn't ring at night at all. Silvia was so cheerful and helpful when we thought the microwave didn't work. A lovely place to stay in the centre of the old town and near the beach and seaside promenade.

The cupboard smells of furniture polish. But only a minor problem.

The location is great - the sound of Spanish people having fun in bars and restaurants just below was lovely - it made me feel constantly happy! You're right in the heart of everything. The room had a really authentic Spanish feel - terracotta tiles on the floor, dark hardwood furniture, and a fabulous balcony-style window.

I had to ask for a plate and cup etc - strange as there was a fridge, microwave and little sink - but nothing to prepare food on / with. But I used my Spanish to borrow what I needed - the staff were very helpful.

Wonderful location in Llanes. In the paedestrian street near many bars and restsurants. Lady at check-in very friendly. Walking distance to Playa de Sablon beach. Room was perfect. Bathroom with a shower with good water pressure. Room and bathroom very clean. We had a very good overnight stay at Posada del Rey while walking the camino del Norte. Highly recommended

Affordable hotel in a great location! We needed a recharge night during the Camino and were super glad to have chosen La Posada del Rey. The laundromat and train station are less than 10 mins away and it's smack in the middle of Old Town. Elevator works and the bathroom was clean with warm water.

There was 1 or 2 times I was hoping to chat with someone at reception but they were out for the day/ siesta. But that happened at nearly every hotel in Spain so we were used to it!

Located in the centre of Llanes, yes it was a little noisy but no more than be usually expected from a town centre hotel. Really enjoyed our stay and wanted to stay longer but they were, unfortunately booked up.

Fantastic location. A little noisy on first night but only as expected in such a central location. Characterful decoration, loved it.

Only thing we could fault was the obvious plastic mattress protectors: understandable but a recipe for a hot night.

The room had a beautiful stone wall, which added to the cozy feeling of it all. Staff was very friendly. Everything we needed was within a very short walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely loved my stay! Booked it the day of and we stayed in a room on the top floor. So cozy and charming, would stay again in a heartbeat. Estuvimos enamorados con la posada. Nuestro cuarto estaba lleno de encanto y tengo ganas de volver en el futuro.

Beautiful antique building and yet all mod cons. Homely and yet in the centre of this lovely little town.
