Lovely small hotel in a quiet area. Genuine old building and very pretty. We travelled by bicycle and there was bike parking available in a covered area within the property grounds. Walking distance to bars and a restaurant which were very nice. Staff friendly and very helpful, but check the times for check in and out. Comfortable room. Breakfast buffet was tasty and good fuel for an active day ahead.

As to be expected in an old building, the soundproofing between rooms was not fantastic. Check in only available from 16:30 pm, check out from 9 am. Easy enough to spend the time wandering in the town though.

Lovely , spacious old villa with enormous rooms , very good fresh simple breakfast and you can eat this on the terrace in good weather. Location is superb as Poo de Llanes is a nice village 5 minute walk from the beach and right on coastal walks

The shower door was missing a rubber seal so water ended up flooded all over floor and was dangerous- we both very nearly slipped over on the bathroom floor. The room was warm overnight so could have done with a pedestal fan .

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Miramar. Merche and the rest of the staff were kind and helpful. Merche gave us wonderful recommendations and made our stay unforgettable. Everything was spotless abd clean. The location is perfect. The surrounding town is cute with a wonderful walking path along the coast.

We had an amazing stay.. This hotel should have more than two stars, because it exceeded my expectations in quality and staff attention. The rooms and shared areas were very clean and the daily breakfast was ample. The owner went above and beyond to help us with our bicycle and touring directions and other help we needed. I thought the location was perfect to Poo beach and Sendera Costera. I will definitely be back..

We loved the tower room, which we were offered instead of our booked room as a volley team were booked into the other rooms and our thoughtful host thought it would be quieter for us.

We've stayed here a number of times before and always like our stays here. There isn't anything we don't like. Fabulous location by a beautiful, sheltered beach and our room and bed were very comfortable.

Loved this place, such a privilege to stay in this historic building. So private, peaceful, great view, good outdoor area, close to the beach, and businesses in town. Our room was lovely, with two French doors opening to outside. Great mattress, warm bedding, very clean, lovely decor, good ensuite. We also had a very good breakfast in the ground floor dining area.

Staff were very accommodating & the location of the hotel to the beach was wonderful. Well worth a short walk.

The first room we had been given had a significant damp issue, there was a foul smell and a dehumidifier in the room. I’d say this was inhabitable and shouldn’t be used for guests. The very kind host moved us on the second night when a room became available but this did effect the stay of 2 nights. Parking is exceptionally tight and became a bit of an issue, sadly Wi-Fi didn’t reach room on 2nd floor.

We love this family run hotel and have stayed here a few times now. Bathroom was tiny this time but the price was excellent so can't complain. We love the beach and it's bar at Playa de Poo and also the walk over the cliffs to Celerio, stopping at a beautiful bay for swim. Will stay here again next year. Outdoor tables are handy for eating our own picnic supper. 😊

Great selection for breakfast. Loved the close proximity to beach (just a gentle 5 minute stroll through a quiet lane). We stayed in the tower room which is a bit bigger - we have stayed here several times now! Staff very friendly - especially Merchi on reception!!

Loved the vibes of the place, really cool beach 5 minutes walk away. The lady at the reception was very nice. We loved our roof window view.

Watch out not to come between 14.30 to 16.30 as it doesn't state anywhere that there will be noone at the property.
