Everything was wonderful! From the spacious safe car park and welcome to the comfy king bed and lovely views out to the Medieval area of town and to the ocean. A few minutes walk to a lovely sandy beach to swim at. Many restaurants and bars nearby. 80 metres to a laundrette. The housekeeping was exceptional - extremely high standard. Relaxing terrace bar and incredible dinner at their sister hotel - an old convent about 2 mins walk away. Their Montemar app was very helpful not only for its link to specific google map directions but recommended driving itineraries in the Pico de Europa area.

It was so well run. The staff were very informative and friendly. They gave us great advice on the town and what to see. The room was spotless and had a great fan on the ceiling to cool the room. The parking was easy and a huge carpark. It was very central and quiet at night. Would highly recommend. There are lots of restaurants and small local shops.in the town and a lovely Italian restaurant as well as the traditional ones.

Good location. Helpful staff Nice room with good view of mountains. 5 mins walk from good family beach with lifeguards and ice cream van. Electric bike hire.Other awesome beaches a bit further away No public transport but taxis cheap. Playa ballotta is tricky to get down to.

Concrete exterior a bit off putting

The room was perfect, just perfect. Booking went easy. Very good price too! Communication beforehand by whatsapp was easy and handy. Early check in was possible since my room was ready. The room is very nice. Bathroom too. Everything I needed was there. Clean and beautiful. With terrace. Location perfect, ideal to move around. Beach close by, bars & restaurants too. Friendly staff. Toilet was clean, bedlinen available and clean towels too. Free parking was available.

The breakfast was good value for money at 7 euros.The hotel is very well placed in the town and has excellent parking. Several touches for comfort were in the room and ours had a lovely large terrace for sunbathing. There is also a sister hotel a short walk away where they serve excellent food at very reasonable prices. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Hotel is run with a great deal of care. We would certainly return. Llanes is a great little town too.

Can't think of one thing

We stayed in this hotel last year and love the location, the friendly staff, our room was clean and it has a great shower! Highly recommend if you are visiting the charming town of Llanes. And there is free parking beside the hotel which is a big plus!

The location was fantastic as well as the large, free parking lot. We ate breakfast one morning and it was fine, but a bit expensive for what we ate. Overall the hotel was clean and the room had everything we needed.

Staff were great. Food was really good. Spotlessly clean room. We were always offered bottles of cold water going to our room at end of the day and even when we were checking out! Great hotel, well managed.

We would like to thank all the staff that we interacted with during our 5 days here. They were exceptional and treated us like friends. They made us feel so welcome and at home, we didn't want to leave. The hotel is perfectly located in Llanes so you have access to everything by foot or by car if necessary and they have a large car park! Service was exceptional and the food was very very good. Our room was very comfortable and the cleaning staff were amazing with their attention to detail everyday. I wish we managed to get everyone's names to mention how grateful we are to each of you for our stay and for going the extra mile for my birthday surprise! Gracias a todo

Montemar is a great hotel close to the main thorough fare. Parking is secure and free. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well appointed.

Late evening, the bar didn't had run out of tapas type snacks. We were sitting outside and asked if we could fetch a pizza from a takeaway across the street. The barman said we could but we would have to eat it in our rooms it wasn't allowed in the bar area. We consequently ate the pizza at the takeaway and returned where they were happy to continue serving us drinks. Bit of a strange decision but he was the most miserable of the staff we encountered - not enough to mark down the general excellence of the hotel.
