Driving on my way home to Germany, I injured a hand. Having an overnight reservation at the Ibis, Mollet, I registered, deposited my luggage and left my pet dog in the room before proceeding to the Mollet Hospital. The injury was more serious than I suspected. It required emergency surgery and subsequent hospitalization. I called the hotel and advised them. They reacted with unexpected understanding, empathy and flexibility. I was asked how long I needed the room for. We agreed on a three-day extension with the possibility of a further one if needed. In the meantime, I arranged for my pet to be picked up and looked after, which I informed the hotel about and they agreed to cooperate however possible. It was so, that my pet was collected and taken care of. When I subsequently called the hotel to request a further 2-day extension of my reservation, they agreed with minimal bureaucracy, on the contrary, they were totally forthcoming. It should be noted that all this took place at the end of July, during high travel season when hotels are virtually fully booked. I have been a frequent traveler during my business career. Ibis was a chain I used occasionally for convenience reasons. I chose it on this occasion because it accepts pets and was close to the motorway. Friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms very close to large supermarkets. Would stay here again if travelling to Barcelona - just a fair distance to reach Barcelona itself, although we knew this when booking.

The place is in a great spot, supermarket and gas station right next door. The neighborhood seemed very safe. Staff was all right with me parking on the side of the hotel since my car was higher than their parking. 20 minutes from Badalona, 25min from Barcelona.

There is no refrigerator in the room, and there is no wending machine. So only cold drinks at the lobby bar.

The room was quiet and comfortable. The bed was cozy. Cleanliness was excellent. The breakfast was rich and varied for this price range of the hotel.

I did not like the fact that additional toiletries (e.g., slippers, bathroom cups, etc.) had to be requested at the reception. It is more pleasant for guests to have all these things waiting in the room. Also, we expected to see some smiles from the girls at the reception, which unfortunately we did not see even once in three days. Actually, they are not rude or unprofessional, but unfortunately, they are not as courteous as we expect from reception staff.

The location for getting on/off AP7, was brilliant. Across the road is a public walk with paths if you have pets or want to be surrounded by trees. Which worked well for us as we had a dog with us on our travels/ The breakfast and restaurant food was good, for the price and stay which was comfortable, I would highly recommend.

Car park can be tricky coming out/in and if someone else is coming out/in.

Away from Barcelona, ​​close to the highway. Overall a good hotel for the price. staff are attentive. We stayed for one night and everything was acceptable.

I have stayed in ibis hotels in different cities with breakfast, but here they had very little choice. I would rate it 6 out of 10 points. Parking costs 8 euros per night.

Mostly everything is at a very high level. The air conditioner is working perfectly. It can be adjusted as needed. A garage is available in the basement of the hotel for €8 per day. Very accessible from the main highway. And there are plenty of free parking spaces in the area. There are supermarkets and a gas station next to the hotel.

On summer days, it would be good to have a small refrigerator in the room, for water or some refreshments.

I had a fantastic stay at Ibis Barcelona Mollet! The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the room was spotless, comfortable, and had a beautiful view. The location is perfect, close to everything yet peaceful. Highly recommend and would love to return!

Rooms are large clean and fully air con. breakfast was really nice,, big choice of different foods ,, great coffee. Boiled eggs were wonderful. Wifi was strong and fast. Staff were friendly and super helpful and spoke excellent English. Supermarket 2 min walk away ,, cheap fuel station next door.

More information on the underground car park when making the reservation,, i would have paid for parking. Open the restaurant at 1700 ,, i would have eaten then,.

My room and bathroom were clean, the breakfast was very good with some local dishes, the staff was helpful and professional.

The rooms do not have safe box, I know it is not expected in 2-star hotels, still I would have liked to have one,
