The hotel is located in Perillo, a lovely seaside resort across the bay from A Coruna. The town has a long curving beach with golden sands and off this lots of bars and restaurants. The hotel is located a couple of hundred metres up above the beach area. It is on the main road through the resort but set back so is quiet surrounded by houses and gardens. We arrived by car and there is a good sized garage under the hotel for parking, this is down a very steep curved drive. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable with a nice terrace at the back with a view over houses and gardens so was quiet. There was a limited sea view. The bathroom was a good size with plenty of hot water. The beach area is a short walk down hill but you can take a slightly longer but flatter route along the main road to the bar/restaurant area. A quite acceptable journey. The bus stop is about 100m down from the hotel where there are plenty of buses to central A Coruna about 4 miles away. Well worth a visit as there is a large harbour, lovely golden sand beach and a beautiful historic old town.

The only problem is for people who are old or those having walking difficulties. The hotel is set back from and below the road. The reception and garage are accessed by a downward short (50m) drive which is very steep. So when walking out of the hotel you have to face this climb. If using a car all the time it is fine. For me, as with most Spanish hotels, the pillows are too thin so more pillows had to be requested.

The hotel was excellent. Everything was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The staff were very kind and assisted us with all our needs. The on-site parking was convenient and a great benefit. The room was spacious, and the bed was large and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The welcome was wonderful, as were the staff throughout our stay. It was great to be able to park beneath the hotel, and it was a very short distance into A Coruña if we wanted to go there.

Small hotel, overall quite location as it is down on the slope as compared to the major street passing it.

Very limited options for breakfast, so e.g. eggs cannot be ordered.

Loved the authenticity. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Being a one star we didn't expect much but we're pleasantly surprised.

Breakfast. Bread wasn't fresh and very frugal but for €5.00 each we didn't expect much - no fruit/yoghurt. But did get freshly squeezed orange juice.

Staff is very hospitable, rooms are very clean, good location, very good value for money.

Staff amazing. Extremely helpful. Location great. Easy jumping on and off buses. A Caruna is a beautiful town.

It is a small, but lovely hotel in a quiet area, in walking distance to the seafront, beach, and some restaurants. Bus stop to La Coruna also just a few steps away. Very friendly and helpful staff.

They have a good system to check-in automatic and was really good.
